Description: Teseada and N'call wake up together after the flight.

Date: month 10, day 7 of Turn 7
His arms felt heavy almost as if he'd been the one to fly so hard
after the gold but he smiled before he opened his eyes. **We did it
again!**
Sleepy pride and smug certainty radiated from Haloth where he lay
entwined with his gold mate. Judging from the emotions of his dragon
N'call had to believe perhaps Onnyth had a preference for his big
lifemate.
His arms tightened around Teseada and he kissed her hair where she
lay against him.
"Mmmm" The mutter might be sleepy, but there was a note of satisfaction that
could be heard in it as well. Onnyth had flown long and hard, and she had
clearly chosen well, knowing that Haloth had given her a wonderful golden
egg last time.
"That , that was something else," she said finally.
"It was that," he murmured and let a hand roam down her side. Teseada
was quite selective and had stood him off at arms length after their
last flight. For the moment she was warm and possibly willing. He
couldn't lie to himself when she was here in his arms. He cared about
her though he'd never be able to tell her that. Her attention was
elsewhere and he was too much a gentleman to try and pry in where he
wasn't wanted. For now the flight lust was still strong and his
control wasn't as fine as it would have been otherwise.
She rolled over, draping a hand lightly across N'call's chest. "I think
Onnyth has taken a shine to Haloth, it's the first time she's chosen any
dragon twice."
He smiled down into her beautiful dark eyes, "I don't mind in the
least if she continues to choose him." He kissed her lightly on the
brow.
"Why do I get the feeling you really would like that?" she teased gently.
There was no point playing coy, not now. The flight may be one thing, as
they both knew, but now, her dragon was making things pretty clear as to how
she felt. The only question was what was going on in her own head, outside
of the remnants of flight lust, which she sensed that if they both just let
go, it could be something spectacular
"Because you can read me like a hide?" He teased back. He wasn't
willing to expose his heart and get rejected when they both still
glowed from their flight.
"if only it was always that easy."
"Yeah," he said. His face took on a more serious look. "Tes I..." His
arms tightened around her but he couldn't bring himself to say what he
wanted to say.
"What?" she said gently.
"I do care about you," he said with a light squeeze. "You know that right?"
"I know," she said. "I care about you too, you're a really good friend to
me, and I appreciate that."
That wasn't precisely what he wanted to hear but it kind of answered
his question. They'd never been romantically involved and whatever his
other feelings might be, he wasn't going to declare himself in bed
after a gold flight. So, he kissed her. "I'll always be your friend
Tes." His hand ran up her back in a soft caress.
"But for now," that caress felt so good. "how about we stop talking and
celebrate this time?"
"I like that idea," he smiled and proceeded to show her how much he
liked the flightlust still flowing through them.
