Let's Go

Writers: Heather, Len
Date Posted: 13th April 2015

Characters: S'avn, S'vin
Description: S'avn meets S'vin.
Location: Dolphin Cove Weyr
Date: month 12, day 9 of Turn 7
Notes: Mentioned: D'hol

The blue on the beach was everything Kadeth wasn't. Big, dark, and
with a rider that was everything S'vin wanted. Silently, he thanked
the journeyman healer at Dragonsfall for sending him on this task to
get a bag of herbs for the doctors back home. He nudged Kadeth to land
directly beside the young blue.

Once his own tiny blue had landed, S'vin swung a leg over and
gracefully landed just before the blue's rider.

"Oh, hello tall, dark and oh-so-handsome."

"Um, hi." S'avn glanced up at the foreign bluerider. The young Dolphin
Cove rider had been enjoying a swim in the ocean with Mayfeth when a
cramp in his leg had sent him ashore. Although S'avn was not an
incredibly shy man, he did prefer to swim in at least a pair of
swimming shorts becausing bumping into your Wingleader at the beach,
naked, was always awkward. **D'hol.. naked.** S'avn shuddered in
revulsion.

}:Well met, Kadeth. The sand and water are excellent today.:{ Mayfeth
said conversationally.

}:Would you like to go for a swim?:{ Kadeth asked politely. Being
almost as small as the littlest green never bothered Kadeth, so the
sight of a blue much bigger than him was no big deal. But a swim--a
warm swim--now that sounded nice! He could sense his lifemate wanted
to stick around.

}:I would,:{ Mayfeth said longingly, }:but we just came from the water
and my rider likes for me to provide a bit of shade for him on the
beach.:{

}:Oh, don't worry, if I know my rider, he has other ideas for getting
your lifemate into some cooling shade.:{ With that, Kadeth happily
waddled into the ocean.

S'vin grinned broader as his blue went to the waters. Fanning himself,
he turned a coy eye onto S'avn. "So what does a boy do around here to
cool down?"

And of course S'avn was too inexperienced with flirting with the same
sex to _know_ what S'vin was up to, "Well... swim, mostly." He
answered, keeping one blue eye on the new bluerider, the other
squinted closed against the brilliant sun.

"Ah, but I didn't bring my swimming suit." S'vin gave him a coy grin
and looked about. "But it looks like all the other boys and girls have
forgotten theirs as well. Do you mind?" He let his flight jacket slid
to the sands and slowly unbuttoned his shirt, his gaze firmly on the
other bluerider.

S'avn was immensely glad that his skin was already tanned from sun
exposure or he was sure there would be a blush showing on his cheeks.
"Go ahead, I don't own the beach." He simply said, although he could
not help but feel a _little_ curious as to what S'vin had underneath
his clothing... Okay, maybe _more_ than a little curious!

Thank Faranth he had been bulking up in the last turn! Without
embarrassment, S'vin let the jacket drop to the sands. The shirt
followed after, revealing a nicely toned body that he so didn't have
two turns ago. Slowly, ever so slowly, he unbuckled his belt and let
it slid around his hands before dropping it on top of the pile of
clothes. One by one he undid the buttons of his trousers, a little
smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. The bluerider sure looked
embarrassed! "I'm S'vin, by the way. And you are?"

**Shells!** S'avn had seen plenty of naked men, it was sort of
impossible _not_ to living at a beach Weyr, but there was something
tantalizingly appealing about S'vin's toned body that made him want to
look... and then look some more!

"Oh, um," why was coming up with his own name so difficult in that
moment? "I am S'avn, nice to meet you."

Everything within S'avn told him to flee, to retreat to the safety and
solitude of his weyr, and even as he began to mentally voice that to
Mayfeth, the blue interupted him with -

}:I think I will swim some more. You should swim with the bluerider-
he seems like fun.:{ Mayfeth turned then and made his way back down
the beach to the water.

**Traitor.** S'avn thought darkly, now stranded on the beach with a
gorgeous, naked bluerider.

"Nice name, almost like him, eh?" S'vin sidled a few steps away from
the lad, giving him plenty of time to eye his (and he knew it) nicely
shaped backside. "Care for a swim?"

S'avn's natural inclination was to blurt out some excuse and quickly
get the shell out of there but.... There was that tiny part of him
that was curious to know more about this other bluerider. "Sure." The
word slipped out of his mouth as if it had its own agenda.

}:Is your rider silly some times? Mine is.:{ Mayfeth said with the
equivalent of a sigh as he swam beside of Kadeth.

}:Mine is, but over different things. But my clutchmate Neath says
hers is_very_silly, so maybe it's just a human thing?:{

Mayfeth huffed, }:I hope mine grows out of it.:{

}:He will.:{ Kadeth crooned to the riders to join the dragons in the water.

"So what brings you to Dolphin Cove today?" S'avn asked to generate
some conversation between him and the (TOO good-looking) bluerider.

"Oh, I had to run an errand for one of our dragonhealers. Something
about herbs and all that." S'vin shrugged his shoulders, not really
remembering any of what he had been told. All he knew was it was an
excuse to get someplace warm.

"Sounds like a nice little break then." The Dolphin Cove dragonrider
said as he treaded water, droplets shining on his shoulders in the
sunlight.

"It is." S'vin's eyes ran over S'avn's body in such a way that the lad
would have no problem in knowing just how nice a break this trip could
be. "Do you have your own Weyr yet?"

S'avn barked out a laugh, "I am not a Weyrling, if that's what you're
asking. I have my own weyr." And with the hungry way S'vin was staring
at him, it left S'avn with no doubt what the other man was _really_
asking. Only, could he do that? Just invite some man, no matter how
gorgeous, he just met up to his weyr?

}:Why not?:{ Mayfeth wondered curiously.

**I don't know it's just...** He didn't know how to explain it to
Mayfeth. Shells, he didn't know how to explain it to himself.

"So, your own weyr, eh?" S'vin slidled closer to S'avn. "This is is
beginning to give me a head ache, what say we grab a nice bottle of
wine and go back to your weyr?" His eyes were full of the promises he
would do to S'avn once back there.

Squashing down the nervous eruption in the pit of his stomach, S'avn
looked into S'vin's eyes, "Let's go."
