Birigundi

"So you still think you could teach me a thing or two?" Birigundi grinned as he pulled the tunic off the woman who was sitting so prettily in his lap.
"You might find I'm a much faster learner than Toriat. And I am oh so willing to boot."

"You seem to be doing well enough so far," Sarian replied, sliding her hands onto his shoulders. "Of course, if you get... stuck..." she winked at him and wiggled, "I'd be happy to help you."

"I haven't gotten stuck yet," he grinned as he pulled her closer so he could nibble at her neck.

There was a cursory knock at the door before it was opened. "Hey, Sarian--"
N'vanik paused when he saw she had company. It took him a second to recognize the Candidate that had been kissing Trae months ago.
His eyes narrowed. "You sure do get around, don't you? Out!" he ordered.

"Are you talking to me or the lady?" Birigundi asked as a hateful smile spread across his lips. "Cause if you're talking to her I'm following, and if you're talking to me, you'll have to make me. And we all heard about _your_ fighting skills. Or lack thereof..."

N'vanik would have loved nothing more at that moment than to give Birigundi the beating of a lifetime. But that was sure to extend his grounding, and fighting Thread was more important than bloodying a Candidate. "I want the boy out of here. Now!"

"My, my..." Sarian slid from Birigundi's lap and to her feet, oblivious to the fact that she was clad in flimsy undergarments and very little else.
Bracing her hands on her hips, she looked from one of them to the other.
"You two are certainly fiesty."

"He's just sore because he thinks he owns every woman in the Weyr,"
Birigundi said, rather frustrated that she moved. "By the way, bronzerider, how is your goldrider friend? I've missed her. Please tell her 'Hi' for me if you still see her."

The bronzerider clenched his hand, feeling his nails bite into his palm.
**He's not worth it,** he told himself. "Instigating people with a known history of violence. That's a very _dangerous_ thing to do."

Sarian cleared her throat. "Hello, anyone remember me? I'm the mostly naked woman who is going to get angry if all the boys keep playing with each other instead of me."

"Well, if you sit back down I'd be happy to play with you," Birigundi grinned up at her. "Maybe we could teach the 'dangerous one' over there a few lessons on how to treat a woman."

The greenrider laughed. "You're young and fabulously energetic, Birigundi, but you're not going to be teaching N'vanik anything he doesn't know."

"Except how to do it well," the candidate added.

"I should be teaching _you_ boy," N'vanik told the Candidate. "Probably in other areas, too, since you can't seem to Impress a dragon."

"Well, I sure seem to be able to Impress your friends, bronzerider,"
Birigundi grinned, though inside he was seething. He would Impress. He still had plenty of chances.

"Boooo-ring," Sarian drawled. "Do you two need some privacy to make torrid love and relieve the obvious sexual tension here? Though if you want me to stay, obviously, that would work too..."

"Yeah, I've had enough of this," N'vanik said. "C'mon, Sarian. Let's go to my weyr. "

Birigundi stood and put an arm possessively around Sarian's waist. "I think you and I have had this discussion before, rider. The lady chose me for the evening. You just go and find your own lady."

Sarian blinked at Birigundi for a moment before bursting out in laughter.
"You are so cute."

"Yeah, I may just be cute, but at least I don't have to screw someone on my wingleader's desk just to get off," Birigundi growled in response.

"Sometimes grown-ups like to have sex in interesting places," N'vanik said.
"Maybe you'll understand when you're older."

"I'd say that _goldrider's_ weyr was plenty interesting," Birigundi said with a smug grin. Perhaps it wasn't right for him to bring her into this, but there seemed to be no blow too low for that bronzerider.

Realizing that the two men were totally incapable of shutting their mouths and doing something more interesting than fighting, Sarian ducked out from under Birigundi's arm and stalked toward the door without a word. She was fairly sure that her current state of dress would gain her entrance into some sympathetic rider's weyr... and Birigundi and N'vanik probably wouldn't notice she was gone until they ran out of insults.

But N'vanik _did_ notice. "Sarian, wait!" He turned to follow her. After what Birigundi had just said, he was afraid he _would_ punch the candidate, and scorch the consequences.

Birigundi would be flamed rather than just let that bronzerider have his chosen partner for the evening. "Face it," he said as he squeezed passed the bronzerider in his pursuit of the retreating greenrider, "I'm younger and faster."

Sarian wheeled about with a dangerous look in her eyes. "I've had enough of the two of you. Either you both get naked, or you both leave, because _neither_ of you is tempting enough by yourself right now to make up for how sharding annoying you both are."

"You can't be serious!" N'vanik protested.

"Does she look like she's kidding?" Birigundi asked rolling his eyes. "You've got a lot to learn, bronzerider."

"And you're still wearing clothing," Sarian snapped at Birigundi, pointing at her door. "I'm wearing less clothes than _he_ is," the candidate replied a challenging smile as he reached for his belt.

"Well he's still dressed, so it doesn't matter." And Sarian planted a hand into the middle of his back and propelled him out into the hallway.
"Don't come back unless you have a naked friend."

N'vanik arched an eyebrow. "Does it count if I bring a woman?"

Sarian snorted and planted a hand in the middle of N'vanik's chest.
"Only if she knows what she's doing," she replied with a cheerfully wicked smile before giving him a shove as well. "Better hurry though, before I find a better offer." And with that, she slammed the door to her room, leaving N'vanik and Birigundi on the outside.

Birigundi turned to the bronzerider. "I certainly won't mind if you bring another woman. I'd even let you watch."

"_You_ shut up!" N'vanik pointed a finger at him. "You're not gonna watch anything, and I'm not gonna waste any more time talking to you. I know a woman that owes me a little favor, and when I get back here, I better not see you."

"Or you're gonna _what_?" he asked with a grin that just _begged_ the bronzerider to take a swing at him. "I'll be here. Sarian owes me a shirt, and I'll be here until I get it."

"Fine. Stay then," N'vanik growled. "I'll be back in a few minutes with a very creative young drudge, and then you can listen to the three of us enjoying ourselves."

Birigundi snorted condescendingly. "Can we have a little side bet that this is a drudge I already know?"

"Probably," N'vanik grumbled as he turned and walked down the hall.
