Enamra was having the most pleasant dream, one that made her sigh and
smile as she slept. She felt safe and secure again, wrapped in a warm
but heavy blanket made from the finest wool. The blanket was heavy,
but comforting draped over her waist, and there was another section
laid over her legs that though they should have felt pinned, made her
feel more like she was cradled. Heated pads pressed against her,
warming her and making her skin tingle.
She shifted with a sigh, snuggling back towards the warmth. There was
something hard in the draping blanket, pressing insistently against
her lower back. It disturbed her comfort, so she shifted again, felt
it fall in a more comfortable hollow against her bottom. The nudging
of the hardness ceased being uncomfortable and changed to something
far more...interesting. Her comforting blanket was moving, growing
hands. Caressing her and making her skin tingle. She wiggled against
the hands, one finding her breast and the other her hip. The way those
blanket hands touched her felt far too good for her to complain.
The dream was a nice one, Thayde thought. It was about a nude body wet
from the sea and glistening in the sun. What surprised him the most
about the feel of it was how smooth the skin felt beneath the palms of
his hands. It had been so long since he had held and touched a woman
in such a way. Small, but pleasant orbs of flesh fit neatly into the
cups of his palms. The sand was warm beneath their skin and the
feminine body tucked so neatly against his own, caused delicious
friction with the undulating of its hips.
Words filtered in to her dreams in a familiar voice as the
blanket-hands solidified into actual fingers. Later was now, it said.
What she had heard the other drudges whispering to each other late at
night was true. It could feel good. It would feel good. He could show
her. The fingers stroked and kneaded her, causing an unfamiliar but
growing ache settle in the pit of her stomach and lower still. The
ridge against her backside was growing more insistent and she
responded with a groan.
The groan trigged a break in the dream for Thayde, causing the warm
beach to fade, but the body in his hands did not. Reality came rushing
back with the smell of Enamra's shampooed hair in his nose. The
familiar darkness of his bedroom met his eyes as he became aware of
the panting, squirming body in his arms. He froze, realizing what was
happening. "Enamra?" he whispered her name but there was no response.
**She's still asleep, thank Faranth,** he breathed a sigh of relief.
Now all he had to do was untangle himself from her.
She knew the voice that spoke in her ear, saying her name. It was
Thayde's voice that was murmuring to her, he was the one touching her,
making her body itch with that unfamiliar longing. She shifted,
thighs rubbing together as she tried to find some measure of relief.
She murmured his name, back arched to encourage the dream hands to
continue those enticing caresses.
Hearing her say his name was nearly his undoing. **I have got to get
out of here,** he thought in a panic. His self-control was dangling by
a frayed thread. She inexperienced and _young_.... More importantly,
she was asleep. She might think differently if she were awake.
Carefully, Thayde pulled his hands away, although he was forced to
slide one of them along the ladder of her ribcage as he extricated it
from beneath her. Thayde couldn't help but notice as he was shifting
away from her, how very womanly she had felt in his hands.
A cold, cold bath. That was what he needed. Maybe by the time he
returned from the bath, she would be back into a normal sleep. He
hoped she didn't remember any of it in the morning because it was
hardly a reaction that he wanted to explain.
The dolphineer carefully swung his legs over his side of the bed and
began picking around, as quietly as possible, in the dark for his
clothes.
She whimpered at the loss of contact, trying to wiggle back in her
sleep to find the alluring, exciting warmth. Her bottom wiggled, then
she rolled over. Her arms found his pillow and with a groan, hugged
it to her, burying her face in it.
Thayde glanced back at his young wife over his shoulder, able to see
her face more clearly in the moonlight. When she didn't speak or move
again, he continued changing from his soft clothes into the attire he
commonly wore down to the beach. He'd decided that a cool dunk in the
waves would be the best and give him some space away from Enamra to
think.
**You've got to be kidding me,** the dolphineer thought as he stood,
wincing at how tight and uncomfortable his swimming shorts felt. How
had he gotten himself into this situation again? Enamra's bruised face
the day she'd been bullied by the other drudges came quickly back to
his mind. Ah yes, that was how.
Slipping his feet into his sandals, he crept from the room, casting
one last glance at her, hugged up to his pillow. **You're in big
trouble, Thayde,** he told himself as he examined the tender feelings
stirring around in his chest.**A problem for another day,** he
insisted, shoving away the feelings as he closed the door to their
room and left.
The click of the door half-roused her from her dream. She half
expected to find Thayde behind her, his hands on her. "Thayde?" She
blinked sleepily, looking around, confused, but feeling her body ache
as it had in that odd, unexplained dream. Figuring that it was still
early and he must be in his office as was his habit before bed, she
groaned and laid back down, face buried in the pillow in her arms. Why
had she dreamed that and sweet Faranth, why did her body feel like
this?
