T'kala tossed the last firestone bags at the brownrider. "That's it B'drin!" he called.
B'drin nodded as he tossed the bag to the next weyrling in line. He turned and smiled. "I'm glad that's done."
"Don't we have more after lunch?" he asked, ready to duck.
B'drin mock sighed, "I'd hoped to forget that." He smiled as he gave his freind a light punch.
"I though dragons where the ones with bad memories." he shot back B'drin smiled as he put his arm around the bluerider"s neck. "Well, then I suppose I should find a way not to forget things. But for now I had better make you go eat before you waste away and leave your handsome blue all alone."
T'kala felt Dagrth's cincerned denial in his mind. "Now look what you've done, brownrider, you've made Dag worry."
"Oh, dearest little blue, He would never leave you no more than I could leave my precios Lumyth. I didn't mean it in truth." B'drin was chargrined. He had not meant it literally. He had forgoten that these little dragons did not understand.
"He's all right I think you just scared him for a mintue." T'kala smiled, B'drin was alway very kind to Dag.
"Well, I hadn't meant too." He smiled. He lead the way inside to a meal. "That handsome blue of yours sure is growing though. If he keeps going he is going to rival Lumyth, and Lumyth is already a large brown." He joked.
"You mean more to wash?" T'kala groaned dramticly. "I'm going to need a fair of firelizards as is." he laughed.
"Make you a deal, I'll help you wash him if you help me wash Lumyth." He chuckled. "Company's always welcome so I'll take your deal."
"Good. It's a deal then. Now lets feed our empty stomachs before theirs demand more to fill them." He smiled warmly at the blue rider. "Race ya!" T'kala bolted ahead of the brownrider.
B'drin took off after him with a smile. He was not realy built for sprinting. He didn't care. He was happy to be running with his friend. He had not been allowed to do such foolish things back home. Now he truely felt his freedom as he dashed along behind T'kala.
