"Congratulations!" K'mai slung an arm around T'gyrlan and patted him on the back. "Sebeth says Hanassath is flying again!"

"Sebeth has sharp eyes!" T'gyrlan beamed, the gladness radiating off him in waves. Even if Sebeth hadn't given K'mai the tip off, anyone might guess something was up with the bronzerider. There was a bounce to his step as he strode through the weyrbowl, head up and eyes bright-- a far cry from the tortured brooding he'd become known for these past few Turns. It was, in fact, like the T'gyrlan K'mai had known back at River Bluff. "W'ser cleared him to fly just yesterday-- but no riding yet. Not for the first month as he gets back into shape."

"Hey that's still amazing! Do you want a party? I should throw you a party!" K'mai had seen how difficult things had been for T'gyrlan while he was grounded and Hanassath flying again was certainly worth celebrating.

"I--" Out of habit, T'gyrlan had been about to decline before he caught himself in disbelief. This wasn't a pity invite. This _was_ worth celebrating and, what's more, he _wanted_ to celebrate. "You know what? I do want a party! Let's get all the River Bluffers together and-- and-- shards! I don't know. Whoever else you think. You're the expert. What do the best parties have these days? I'm out of practice."

"The best parties have me." K'mai winked. "I'll make an effort to invite as many former River Bluff people as I can, but also make sure everyone is welcome. We don't know what Wing you'll be in, after all!"

"Hopefully Cobalt. Hanassath and I still have to show them what we can actually do in the air." They had been injured shortly after the transfer, a fact that still rankled. He'd been a sharding wingleader back at River Bluff, but all Dragonsfall knew him as was an invalid. That was going to have to change. "How's it been for you, flying with Cyan all this time?"

"Cyan is fine! We've got a good group of people. L'val and D'ale keep us steady."

"That's good," said T'gyrlan, trying not to feel too jealous. He missed the camaraderie of the wing. "Invite some of them too. I swear I know more healers these days than dragonriders."

"Oof, yeah that must be rough. On a somewhat related note, did you consider crafting?" K'mai asked. "After you realized Hanassath's injury was going to be, well . . . long-term?"

"I tried-- well, _they_ tried to get me into dragonhealing after a Turn or so. I think they wanted Hanassath there more than me. He was a natural at calming other dragons." It was a dark time then, but T'gyrlan's voice turned fond as he spoke of his other half. "I didn't take to it as well. Give me fire and ash anyday, I'll face all the Thread there is-- but dealing with the injuries after... It's not for me." It had reminded him too much of his own accident.

Shaking the thoughts from his head he clapped K'mai on the shoulder. "Good thing the actual dragonhealers pulled through and came up with something! I belong back in the air. I'm no crafter."

"I'm so glad it worked! You've got a light back in you and I missed that." It had been hard for K'mai to watch T'gyrlan struggle.

"I've got a full fire back in me, K'mai!" T'gyrlan grinned, pounding his chest for emphasis.

"You certainly do." K'mai took a moment to admire said chest . . . and the rest of him.

T'gyrlan beamed.
