"We're seniors now Gramth!" F'lian told his lifemate grinning from ear to ear.

}: Dose this mean you wish to see to Techiproth's?:{ It wasn't as much of a question as it seemed because the green had already spoken to the blue.

The bluerider had just been waiting for the call from his lover's beautiful little green. C'nitak was already on his way during their little exchange and it wasn't long after that the blue backwinged to land gently on the sand beside her.

Slipping off his lifemate's neck, C'nitak grinned at the greenrider. "I hear someone is a senior weyrling now."

"Finally! Hello Techiproth." He greeted the blue. "What do you think of Gramth now?" The green had grown, one of the larger in her clutch.
Her hide had stayed the pale green it had been the day she broke shell.

"She's grown strong and beautiful, and _you_," the bluerider said as he reached for the greenrider, "have grown strong and even more handsome, if that was possible."

Thrilled that C'nitak still wanted him F'lain moved closer to the bluerider. "I've missed you."

"Not half as much as I've missed you," his lover murmured in a low voice, reaching out to caress the weyrling's hair. "You changed your hair a bit, haven't you?"

"Trimmed it a little, easier to deal with I guess. Gramth likes it."

"I like it too," the bluerider grinned approvingly.

Months of being allowed no more than hand holding had made F'lain somewhat hesitant to dare more than touch his lover. "Maybe we could go for a picnic or something, get out of the Weyr for a while." he suggested.

"I'd like that. And then maybe you could show me your new weyr?"
C'nitak could understand F'lian's hesitation. It wasn't all that long ago that he had been in the same position. There was no reason to rush things. They had waited this long...

"You'll like our weyr, Gramth has two greens for neighbors that she can gossip with at all hours and we..." the greenrider rambled on about their new quarters in vivid detail.

The bluerider listened patiently for the first minute until he took F'lian's face in his hands and kissed him soundly to stop his lips.
When he pulled his lips away just slightly, C'nitak whispered, "Instead of describing your weyr, why don't you show me?"

F'lian, wearing a dreamy smile, grabbed his lovers hand and pulled him toward Gramth. "He won't mind if she takes us will he?"

"Just so long as he you put in good words for him. We both fully intend to chase in Gramth's first flight you know," the bluerider smiled as he followed him to the green.

"You'd better be chasing. I had to keep telling her that he was practicing when he chased other greens."

"Telling her? Or telling yourself?" C'nitak asked knowingly. It had been a long four months... for _both_ of them.

"Both I guess." The greenrider grinned as he swung onto his lifemates neck. He held out his hand.

The bluerider took it and swung up behind him easily. Settling comfortably, his arms wrapped firmly around the greenrider, C'nitak leaned forward to murmur in the weyrlings ear, "Take me home, Flian."

Gramth lunched into air and headed for the weyr she and her rider had been given. When she laded on her ledge she waited for her passengers to dismount before moving over so the blue could join them if he wanted.

"This is it," F'lain grinned ad he lead his lover into his quarters.

"Well, not many decorations yet, but we can work on that," the bluerider smiled. "When you're free to roam about we'll have to go to a few Gather's together and fill all those empty spaces."

The way C'nitak kept saying _we_ made F'lain giddy. He knew he was grinning like an idiot but had no reason to stop.

"Will you show me around?"

"This is Gramth's weyr. She spends most of her time on the rim with the other dragons though." The main room contained a small table a few chairs. "It's kinda strange having my own room again. I'm used to at least hearing other candidates and werylings." he said he lead the way to his sleeping quarters "Well, if you get lonely, I am always willing to come over and make a little noise to fill the silence," the bluerider grinned suggestively.

"I've been lonely for four months." He replied without thinking.

"You're a senior weyrling now," C'nitak said with an understanding smile. "I don't think either of us need be lonely again for quite some time."

"Will you stay with us tonight?"

"I have nowhere else I would rather be," the bluerider said as he wrapped his arms around his lover. "I've been waiting for this night for a long time."

Smiling F'lain reached up to kiss his friend, "Glad to hear it."
