"My you look beautiful this evening!" S'rak said appreciatively, coming up next to Hanni.
"I try," she replied with a smile. She'd spent more than a few marks on it, and was hoping it showed.
"So, is your dance card full for the evening? I'm a pretty fair dancer." he asked with a smile as he indicated the growing crowd on the dance floor.
"I always have room for one more dance," replied the greenrider.
"Especially one who's already proved he can dance well."
S'rak chuckled, "_That_ sort of dancing I prefer to do someplace a little less populated. But I would be happy to show you how well I transfer those skills to a toss dance."
"A toss dance?" she looked him up and down. You needed to be really good to manage it properly, and with a skilled partner... "I'd be happy to let you."
He offered her his arm, "Then let us warm up with what the harpers are performing now, and hope they provide us the opportunity."
"Why thank you bronzerider," she said as she took it. The pair stepped onto the dance floor, joining the swirling crowds.
"Did you come with anyone tonight?" He hadn't seen her with anyone, but he hadn't been there long...
"No, no I didn't. Did you?" she asked in return.
S'rak had meant to find Corvera and ask her to accompany him for the evening, but the time had never been right, and he knew she would be occupied most of the time with official duties anyways. "Nope, I came all by my lonesome." he said with a grin. "What's the fun of Turn's End if you know ahead of time who you're going home with?"
"Much more fun when you leave things to chance. There's always that moment of anticipation, if you know what I mean." She swung out of his arms for a moment as the music indicated a spin away from your partner, and then back again in time to the beat.
"Yes, of course there is always the chance that you could be left alone at the end of the night." he teased as he spun her out again.
"You wouldn't dream of letting that happen, would you?" she teased as she came back into his arms. "Think of the dancing we could do in private." As she said the word private, she moved perhaps a little closer than the dance really needed, but enough to more than get her point across.
S'rak chuckled, "You _have_ proven to be a superb dancer."
"As have you bronzerider."
