Lenala

Lenala

M'galec grudgingly had to admit that the specially scented sweetsand he bought just for this occasion was rather intoxicating. Not in an over powering way, but in that soft, sexy, luxurious kind of indulgent way women seemed to enjoy so much. He rubbed it gently into Lenala's shoulders as the candlelight floated over them. He was running out of candles... he might have to pick up more...

Lenala sighed in pleasure as she let her head fall forward, enjoying M'galec's clever fingers. Capable of the most delicate surgical procedures, they were more than capable of melting her when he set his mind to it. "This is perfect," she murmured, feeling the tension seeping from her shoulders.

"Did you get the flowers I sent you this afternoon?" he asked as his fingers traveled up her neck, knowing all the points that carried the most tension.

"They were beautiful." They were excessive, but she couldn't tell him that. The great romantic gestures meant a lot more when she knew he meant them... the fact that he'd been ignoring her fairly consistently before he'd gotten thrown out of her weyr made the sudden outpouring of gifts suspicious. But it was something, and she wasn't about to stop him.

"I just wanted you to know I was thinking about you," he murmured softly in her ear, his fingers wandering down her neck and along her shoulders, then back along her collarbones, his touch light and suggestive.

"And you came home early this evening," she noted. That was new, too.
And she couldn't help but wonder if it was at all related to Abrei's sudden absence from the infirmary... "I asked for the time off so I could spend it with you." Not to mention the fact that Jynrek seemed to tell him to go home a lot more than Abrei did. He wondered if it was because Jynrek didn't understand how valuable he was, or if it was because Abrei had been jealous of Lenala.

"That was sweet." Sighing, she leaned back against M'galec, letting her head fall back on his shoulder. With M'galec showering her with such attention, it seemed silly to be jealous of Abrei. "I was looking forward to this all day." Come to think of it, a lot of things were different without Abrei in the infirmary. Things were calmer, for sure. But... far less interesting...

"Mmmmm. Me, too." Not exactly the truth, but Lenala had never been one to let the truth get in the way of her relationships with men. "We should do this more often. It certainly makes taking a bath more relaxing."

"I would say we _both_ could use a bit more relaxation in our lives." Abrei would never be happy digging in the dirt. She belonged in the infirmary. That was where her brilliance lie. She would stagnate listening to a _farmer_ prattle on about herbs day in and day out!

Lenala turned her head just enough to let her lips brush against M'galec's jaw. "How relaxed are you feeling now?"

"Hmmmm," he hummed turning to brush his lips against hers, his fingers slipping below the waterline. **Perhaps I should visit her in the greenhouse sometimes. Give her a little challenging conversation. Just to help her keep her true healer skills honed.**

Sensing that his attention was not as focused on her as it perhaps should have been, Lenala's kiss turned more aggressive, trying to force him to respond in kind. That certainly caught the bronzerider's attention, if just for the moment. "And here I thought the purpose of a bath was to relax you," he murmured teasingly, pushing thoughts of the former Weyrhealer out his mind. He could think about her later. Right now, he was neglecting his beautiful weyrmate.

"Just making sure you weren't _too_ relaxed," she replied sweetly, turning in his arms. "After all, I'm not quite ready for you to drift off to sleep on me."

"Like there was any chance of that happening while you're in the bath with me." He had a lot more energy to spend now too. Now that he wasn't working in the infirmary quite as many candlemarks in a sevenday...

"Mmmmm..." Lenala wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled. "So why don't you show me just how much you like having me in here with you?"

He kissed her hungrily as he pushed down thoughts of Abrei and the infirmary. Right now he had to concentrate his efforts on keeping Lenala happy. Work one problem at a time, that was the best strategy. He could worry about the others later. After all, Lenala had to sleep _sometime_...
