Lenala appeared back in the main part of her weyr with Vilarth's angry rumbles still audible from the ledge. "K'sedel is on his way here," she said in quiet voice, interrupting whatever had been passing between the two men in her absence.

"I am not surprised with that ruckous your gold is making," M'galec mutttered. "Lenala, can you not exercise _any_ control over your lifemate?"

At least the Weyrleader would be here soon to take control of the situation. Ignoring M'galec, K'mai turned to Lenala. "It's okay, Lenala."

And that was the point at which the Weyrleader arrived. "Just what is going on here?" he asked as he surveyed the gold, blue and bronzeriders in front of him.

"I am sorry you have been disturbed, Weyrleader," M'galec sighed.
"Vilarth is acting out for some reason and Lenala is having some difficulty getting her under control. I am sure you know gold dragon's moods even better than I do. I am sure she will get a hold of the situation soon. I appologise for the inconvenience."

Vilarth's angry bellow echoed into the weyr as Lenala's face flushed with shame. She held her ground, though, sustained by the belief that M'galec wouldn't try to intimidate her in front of the Weyrleader. "I asked him to move out," she told K'sedel, looking directly at the Weyrleader and nowhere else. "I tried to calm Vilarth, but she is angry that M'galec won't leave."

"Perhaps you should do as the lady asks," suggested the Weyrleader calmly. There was no point getting angry yet, not if this could be sorted quickly.

"I am trying to talk to Lenala to get her reasoning for wanting me to move out so that we can fix whatever problem there is, but Vilarth interrupted before we could even _start_ our converstation. I am sure as soon as Lenala gets her under control we can talk as any normal couple would."

Lenala took courage from K'sedel's presence. "I don't want to talk. I want him to leave."

"You're sure this is what you want?" K'sedel asked of Lenala. "You want him to go, and now?"

She couldn't look at M'galec, afraid she'd lose her nerve. "Please."

"I'd advise you to leave, and now bronzerider. Don't make this into an order," advised K'sedel. "You can send someone to get your things later."

M'galec stood dumbstruck for a moment before finally saying, "Well, I do not see how that is any of your business, Weyrleader. I do not interfere in aurguments between you and your weyrmate. Kindly stay out of my affairs."

"It's _MY_ business when a dragon in _MY_ Weyr calls on _ME_ for help.
Does that clarify it for you?"

K'mai took a few steps back, hoping to escape notice. Although he was very uncomfortable, he wasn't going to leave. Lenala might like to have a friend around when this was finally over.

"Then, sir, your business is the _dragon_, not my relationship with my weyrmate." Just who did the Weyrleader think he was?!

The humiliation of being ignored as if she was an errant child was bad enough, but Lenala could feel Vilarth's rage like fire along her skin.
Before she even knew what she was doing, she'd taken several steps toward the door. "Then I'm leaving until he's gone. **Go to Ar'lis and Zylarth, Vilarth. I promise I won't see M'galec again tonight.** She didn't wait for M'galec to try to dissuade her. Instead, she grabbed the back of K'mai's tunic on her way past and all but dragged him behind her as she stalked from the weyr.

"All of you wait one moment here. You're supposedly adults, now act like it. Lenala, this is your weyr, you can stay. M'galec you have been asked to leave, you should do so. Bluerider, it's up to the lady as to whether you stay or go." K'sedel looked at them all, used to being listened to. "D'you all hear me?"

M'galec was getting rather tired of this power trip the Weyrleader obviously was on. "This is _our_ weyr, sir, and I have a right to know why my weyrmate sees fit to reclaim it as her own."

Lenala spun on her heel, nearly running into K'mai. "You do not have any rights to me! I am not your property, I'm not your sharding toy, and I'm not coming back here until you're _gone_." She didn't wait for K'sedel to stop her this time. She stalked from the weyr without looking back, terrified that somehow M'galec would find whatever words he needed to change her mind again.

His tone and words may have been mild so far, but that was it as far as the Weyrleader was concerned. "M'galec, I'm ordering you to get your things and go. You have been asked politley by the lady to leave, she has said several times that she doesn't want _you_ here. This has already escalated enough, to the point where I've had to get involved. Perhaps when everyone has calmed down the pair of you can discuss it rationally, but for now, do as she says."
