}:Aosorath is swimming.:{ Serenth told B'vin in a tone that was as close to a pout as he had heard from her. }:I want to swim with Aosorath.:{
**So go swimming with him.** he told her. All the time he and D'cal had been apart, Serenth had still favored Aosorath over almost all others. She would often tell him that she was sunning next to him or talking to him when he would check up on her. He just couldn't understand why, if she thought so highly of him, she didn't choose him to win her flight! Things would have been so easy if they had mated...
things would have been so much better. Serenth gave him a picture of a cove with a large rocky outcropping that he didn't recognize. }: He is far, _we_ will have to go /between/ to go swimming. :{ "I'm not welcome so you'll just have to swim with him once he gets back to the Weyr." B'vin said out loud with a snort.

}: You said I could go swimming with him. :{ She sounded hurt, and that made B'vin again wish things could have been different. }Aosorath? Am I and mine welcome to come and swim with you?:{ Serenth asked sweetly. She wanted to swim and sun with Aosorath, and she was tired of his rider and B'vin not talking. It made things difficult. The blue thought he had better not answer for D'cal. }:I'd like to swim with Serenth here,:{ Aosorath added after he passed the request on to his rider.

D'cal rolled over onto his back and starred up at the deep blue sky above. So B'vin wanted to come swimming with him, eh? He was surprised that the greenrider was making such a gesture so soon. **Of course they can come.** After all, D'cal hadn't been the one who was angry at B'vin. Not really. His pride had been stung, but his feelings were still the same. He had missed B'vin. At least this way, with the greenrider making the first move, his pride could be satisfied.

}: Aosorath's rider wishes for us to go swimming with them. :{ Serenth exclaimed as she stuck her head and neck into the weyr. Her whirling blue eyes found B'vin seated at the table and she huffed at the records he had there. B'vin couldn't help the slow smile that spread on his face. D'cal had made the first move, D'cal had missed him! After that dreadful encounter in Dyaera's weyr, B'vin hadn't been sure if they would be able to patch things up between them, but D'cal obviously wanted to _try_. He stood up and started to gather all the records on the table, that no thanks to Serenth, had also fallen to the floor. "Tell Aosorath that we will be there shortly, and get a good visual from him." Serenth withdrew her head and turned to look out and watch the weyrbowl until her rider was ready to put her straps on. Very pleased with herself she relayed the message. }: Aosorath, we are coming! :{
*************

D'cal decided it was best to just pretend like that whole mess hadn't happened. He wouldn't talk about it unless B'vin brought it up first. The bluerider had no idea what had lead to B'vin's going to Dyaera's room, but it was obvious who his real problem had been with. B'vin didn't deserve to be put in the middle between him and Dyaera, no matter how much she might want him there.

B'vin came from /between/ and saw the pair in the water. Just seeing D'cal made his chest lighten and it reminded him how miserable he had been since the two had fought. "Hey." he said in greeting after Serenth had landed and he'd dismounted. "So you guys thought you'd join us for a swim?" D'cal called back. "Well, come on in. The water's perfect."

He unbuckled the straps and removed them from Serenth, making sure when he set them down they were above the water line. She happily splashed out to Aosorath, and B'vin watched her nuzzle the blue as he waded in. "I didn't have much choice, Serenth was pouting about not being able to swim with Aosorath." "Sure," D'cal chuckled. **Blame it on the dragon.** "Well, who could resist such a beautiful blue?"

**Obviously my green** B'vin thought darkly as her mating flight came to mind again. He didn't mention it though, he didn't want to start fighting with D'cal again, he had made the effort to try and patch things up. "I've never been to this beach before, how did you happen upon it?"
**Dyaera brought me here...** But she was a rather sore subject. "A friend showed it to me. Back when I was a Candidate."

"Nice spot." B'vin replied before dunking himself under the water. So what if D'cal had been here with someone else, it didn't matter to him.
B'vin wanted to work on being friends again... he didn't want anything else. "I thought so. It has become one of my special places." Usually where he went to be alone, but he had brought Zanie here before, too.

B'vin had to give a rare smile to that. D'cal wouldn't have asked him to come to his special place if he hadn't of wanted things to be good between them again. "Well, thanks for sharing it then." The bluerider just smiled.
