Description: Jyramikah and Ikoladith return to River Bluff to visit with family when Nyith rises.
Location: River Bluff Weyr
Date: month 3, day 19 of Turn 4
Ikoladith landed in the Weyrbowl of River Bluff letting her rider off before going to sun herself and gossip with the dragons that lived here. River Bluff was her rider's favorite place to go when the other queens of Dolphin Cove rose to mate. }:Call me when you are ready to return.:{ she told her rider as she took off.
Jyramikah nodded and headed towards the dining hall where she would find her sisters at this time of day. They were right where she had figured they would be and waved at her as she approached.
"If it isn't the Weyrwoman Second of Dolphin Cove, what brings you to River Bluff?" Robysha asked looking shocked to see her older sister. It wasn't like Jyramikah didn't come over to visit at least twice a month, but they weren't expecting her until next sevenday.
"I bet there's a gold flight occuring at Dolphin Cove, isn't there Jyra?" Mikalin suggested giving her younger sister a hug.
Jyramikah laughed and replied, "You're good Mikalin. What gave you that idea?"
"There's only one thing that would bring you here on a day other than a restday."
"You know me so well. How's mother?"
Robysha shook her head. Her sister was so predictable when it came to family. She always asked after their mother and then their father followed by a brief update on the children then asking after the siblings.
Mikalin answered, "She's feeling better today."
"That's good to hear. Is da out with the herds?"
"Like always. He doesn't stay away very long when there's an expectant herdbeast and there are two at the moment." Robysha said giving her sisters a knowing look. They all knew that their father was very dedicated to his herd and to his family. He would be hurt if Jyra didn't stop by to say hello before heading back to Dolphin Cove.
"I'll stop by before I go. Tell mother that I said hello. I don't want to bother her since I know she's probably napping right now. Do give my love to all our siblings. I need to attend to some Weyr business while I am here, but I'll try to stop in before I go." Jyramikah said holding up the letter that she had brought for a friend who didn't have a dragon of her own.
