Description: C'lor asks Br'nick who he needed to talk to about bringing his mother to live at Dolphin Cove.
Location: River Bluff Weyr
Date: month 2, day 20 of Turn 4
He had met C'lor's mother once while the young man was recovering from a bad threadscore. He remembered her not being quite all there in the head, so it was no wonder the young man was worried about her. He could see a man telling her things that she wanted to hear and taking advantage of her. "Her names Caelanah, right?" he asked trying to remember everything he could about her.
"Yes, did you meet her while she was visiting once?"
"I did indeed. Does she want to come live here?" Br'nick inquired as it wouldn't be right to make her come if she didn't want to.
"I haven't heard back from her, but I'm sure that she would want to be closer to me and Hayreith. I would feel more comfortable knowing she was being well taken care of, but I won't force her to move." C'lor replied picking up on the bronzerider's train of thought as he had been over that in his mind several times before.
"Well, I would ask the headwoman or the Weyrleader to start with. They would know better than me, but make sure she wants to do this before you get to carried away with it. I'm glad that you want to see her taken care of. Has she always been like that?"
C'lor nodded. "I used to pretend I was like her so that they would leave me alone. That was until my grandmother was able to take me to live with her. It got better after that and then I came here when my grandmother died."
"I'm sure it will all work out for the best. Your food's getting cold, so you'd better eat." Br'nick said absentmindedly falling into the role of father as he did with his own children some of whom were about C'lor's age.
"Thanks again for your advice, Br'nick." C'lor replied glad that he had an idea of where to go next.
