A family of his own. (2/2)

Writers: Roxanne
Date Posted: 31st March 2007

Characters: C'lor, N'solyn
Description: C'lor chats with N'solyn about having a family and being a dragonrider.
Location: Dolphin Cove Weyr
Date: month 2, day 28 of Turn 4

"Every chance I get. I usually spend at least one meal with them and every restday that isn't Threadfall. Are you going to be a father soon, C'lor?"

"No. I was just curious how easy it was to have children and do your duty at the same time."

"A long term planner? I used to be one of those, then I became a father." N'solyn replied with a chuckle. He never knew what would happen when he was with his children. They always had something new to teach him.

"Do they worry about you going into Threadfall?"

"I think everyone worries about their loved ones during Threadfall. They lost their mother to a Threadfall accident, so I would imagine they might be more concerned than others. I always see them as soon as I can after each Fall to reassure them that I am okay." N'solyn said remembering the day they lost his weyrmate.

"Thanks. I think I am more prepared for becoming a father someday. You are so good with them. Do you mind if I build a sand weyr with them?"

"Not at all." N'solyn replied watching as the children's eyes lit up at the prospect of a bronzerider playing with them.
