Ragletta leaned against the doorway and watched as her husband patiently explained some problem or another to a young apprentice. The girl was paying strict attention and so was Ragletta. She loved watching Kraygh teach.
"Do you understand now Jisin?" asked Kraygh as he pointed to the star chart. "It's always drawn that way to provide as accurate a representation of the night sky as possible."
"Yes Journeyman," answered the youngster. "May I go now?"
"You may."
Ragletta smiled at the apprentice as the girl passed and then approached her husband, from behind, trying to be sneaky. However, her attempt at stealth was ruined when her satchel caught ahold of a stack of charts sitting on a table and knocked them off.
"What the?" muttered Kraygh disturbed by the noise. "Ohhh!" His face brightened at the sight of his wife. "Trying to catch me out again?"
"I used to be so sneaky," Ragletta lamented melodramaticly before grinning at Kraygh. She dropped her satchel into an empty chair and knelt down to pick up her mess. "Actually, I came to see if you wanted to get some lunch. Are you done for now, or do you have more students on the way?"
"No more students until nightfall," he said. "I'm all yours until then, to do with as you wish." He got to his feet and knelt next to her. "If the lady wishes to eat, then we'll eat."
Ragletta laughed and handed the charts she'd gathered up to Kraygh.
"How very gallant, sir," she teased back. "The lady does wish."
He took the charts, and placed them back on the table, and offered her a hand to get to her feet. A smile crossed his face. "Just lunch?"
Ragletta didn't let go of his hand once she'd regained her feet.
"Well, since you've put yourself entirely in my hands for the whole rest of the day, I imagine I can come up with some other wishes for after lunch."
"Harper tales will tell you wishes should come true," he teased. "Perhaps I can grant a few for you."
"Hmm, If I weren't so hungry, I'd test out these wish granting powers you're claiming to have," Ragletta laughed. "Of course, it'll give me time to come up with some nicely creative ones."
"And you can be so creative."
"I have my moments," she replied as she tugged Kraygh towards the door.
"Don't we all?"
"You do have your moments, yes." Ragletta smiled.
"Then perhaps we should go eat, then see if we can create another moment, one just for us."
"That sounds like a perfect plan, husband mine. An absolutely perfect plan." Ragletta snagged her satchel on the way out the door, still tugging Kraygh behind her. "Keep that up and I might have to see about granting a few wishes for you as well."
