Description: Karri and Teseada talk flight and egg talk.

Date: month 10, day 4 of Turn 4
"Karri, you there?" Teseada knocked on her friends door, bouncing slightly on her toes as she did so. For once she wanted to gossip, and it was good.
"Yup, Come on in." Karri replied as she opened the door. "You just caught me, I was about to take Elliath down to feed."
"I'll come with you?" suggested Teseada.
"Sure, want a lift on Elliath?" she offered as she closed the door behind her.
"If she doesn't mind." Onnyth could be picky at times.
}: I would be happy to have Onnyth's ride me. :{ Elliath told Karri as she turned on the ledge to let the two clime her.
"Nope, she's happy to." Karri pulled herself up and then lent her hand to help Teseada.
It felt a little strange to be on the green, somehow she'd got used to the size of a gold without realizing it. But it was the work of a moment to settle herself. "I'm ready."
Elliath walked to the edge of the ledge and jumped off. There was no need to even pump her wings. She just spread them wide to catch the air and let herself make a controlled decent as they angled to the feeding pens. As she landed and the girls slid off, Elliath said }: I only want one today. :{ Karri waved her green off and smiled Teseada, "Sorry about her, she's the lazy sort isn't she!"
"She's kind of dainty when compared to Onnyth," observed Teseada.
The greenrider chuckled, "I think near all the dragons look dainty compared to Onnyth!"
"But are they as smug after a flight?"
"No, I'm pretty sure Queen's have the prize for most smug after a flight." Karri replied after pondering the question, "It must have something to do with the eggs."
"Or maybe how the flight goes."
"And how did your flight go?" Karri hadn't been sure if Teseada had wanted to talk about it, some didn't, so she hadn't brought it up before. "I heard Kalamath won."
"He did. Thank Faranth it wasn't Y'nub and Larweth."
Karri nodded agreement, "Are you okay? No problems with the flight or anything?"
"It was good, Onnyth and I enjoyed it, and she says she'll make plenty of eggs from it."
The greenrider was momentairily distracted by Elliath diving down and picking off the herdbeast she'd selected. "There's already a pool going amongst the weyrlingstaff on the number of eggs. I put a mark on thirty two."
"I think we'll have to wait and see how many there are. I hope at least thirty."
"At least," Karri assured her, "Everyone says Onnyth made an excellent choice in Kalamath." "She keeps telling me he was the best one for her."
Karri grinned as she bumped shoulders with her friend, "Then I think I'll win my marks." "I hope you do," replied Teseada with an answering grin. "I hope you do."
