Description: Kavlyn does Kamira a little favor...
Location: Dragonsfall Weyr
Date: month 8, day 10 of Turn 3

"Kavlyn...?" Kamira approached the boy slowly, not wanting to interupt him if he was busy. "Am I interupting anything?"

Looking up from the hide he'd been studying, Kavlyn gave Kamira a wide grin. "Of course not, beautiful.
What can I do for you?"

"Rumor has it you're the in weyr expert when it comes to clothing..." She didn't really want to come right out ans say that she had little experience when it came to dresses - she was a girl, after all; she shouldn't need a boy's help to pick one out.

"Rumor has it right, this time..." Kavlyn studied her from the top of her head to her toes, smiling. "You looking for something new to wear? I bet I could find some things that would look lovely on you..."

Kamira bit at the corner of her mouth. "Lovely, yes..." **Oh shells, Kamira. Just say it.** "But...
umm.. I also want to be... attractive." She hoped he'd catch her drift without having to say anything.

"Well, that goes without saying..." But it was so fun to watch her try to say it. Kavlyn did his best not to laugh, not wanting her to get so embarrassed that she bolted. "I've got a few things in my weyr we could try..."

"Ok..." Kamira groaned a little. How was it that she could go around flirting with men right and left without a problem, but _talking_ about flirting left her high and dry. But she had full confidence that Kavlyn would take care of her.

"Oh, don't worry darling..." Kavlyn winked at her.
"I'll make it the most fun you've ever had trying on clothing." Gathering up the hides in front of him, he stood and offered her an arm.

Kamira flashed a half smirk. "Wonderful. What do I need to do?"

"Walk with me to my weyr and tell me who is on the receiving end of our efforts..." Kavlyn winked again as he steered her towards his quarters. "I know a few of the men in the Weyr well enough to know their weaknesses."

The girl blushed fully. She wasn't about to admit who she liked - at least not yet, and certainly not aloud.
"There's no _specific_ person I'm after. Perhaps a select few..." She lied a little.

Kavlyn bumped his hip into hers teasingly. "C'mon...
I'm not going to tell anyone! Just tell me!"

"_You_ are hardly the most descrete person in this weyr, Kavlyn, and you know it."

There wasn't much he could say in response to that, since Kavlyn knew it was the truth. "Fine... here, turn left. My door is the second on the left. Let's see what we can find for you."

Kamira almost sighed with relief that he gave up his persuits. This was hard enough for her without admitting who the dress was _really_ for. She stepped inside the appointed room. "So.. what else do we have to do? Do you need measurements or anything?"

"Here..." Kavlyn moved over to his table, which had been turned into an overly large storage shelf for clothing. He spent a few moments eyeing Kamira before shuffling through the dresses draped neatly over one chair and pulling out one that looked petite enough to fit. "Try this on. I think with a few adjustments, it will do perfectly."

Kamira changed into it with as much dignity as possibl
- she knew that Kavlyn wouldn't care if he saw a few things, but she should at least make an attempt at discretion. With wonder she noted how well the dress fit already and how the rich green color showed off her eyes.

Kavlyn admired her with a smug grin. "What did I say?
I'm brilliant. Now let me just stick a few pins in it so I know where it needs to be altered..."

"Kavlyn?" Kamira asked as he went about his work. "Am I crazy?"

He didn't look up, busy at work on the hem. "I don't know... what do you think you're being crazy about?"

"Am I crazy for getting a dress like this as a werling when it'll be _ages_ before I can use it?"

Kavlyn laughed, glancing up at her. "There's nothing crazy about wanting to look good. By the time you're a senior weyrling, whatever man you're eyeing will be stumbling over his own feet to get to you!"

Despite herself, Kamira blush furiously. "Yea, well it'll be thanks to your dress if they do."

"Oh, this is just my first attempt," Kavlyn replied easily, admiring her with his eyes. She _was_ looking particuarly nice... it was a pity she was so off limits at the moment. "Wait until I get you in something I made _for_ you!"

"Well then I can't wait until you _really_ show me what you can do!" **Or until I can show a certain someone else what _I_ can do...**
