Checking his notes, Sarban saw he was supposed to meet with Panyin soon. He planned to check in with the weaver to speak about his proposed project. If all could be worked out, he would be glad to have his plans set in motion.

Panyin was sitting at his loom. He was getting ready for yet another project. He had finished a couple small tapestries of several of the riverboats. He was planning on giving them to the gentleman he had met on the riverboat when he got his little tour a while back. It had taken him a while to get them to look just right. He was proud of them.

Grabbing his notes of ideas, Sarban headed to where he supposed the journeyman would be after their previous conversation. Entering the room, he was immediately assailed with the smell coming from the dye vats. Getting control of himself, he entered further and saw Panyin. "Hail Journeyman!"

Panyin glanced up and smiled. "Ah, Sarban. Good day to you. Have you brought me your ideas?" He stood to walk over to the man.

"Aye I have, Panyin." Sarban offered up his notes, searching about for somewhere they could sit.

Panyin quickly cleaned off a couple of seats and motioned to the man. "Hmmm," he said as he examined them.

"Aye well I'd like it if maybe you could come up with perhaps three different sketches of artwork. Then, Cous," He corrected himself. "Lord Corowal and I can decide which one will be best for the Great Hall as we move some of the older tapestries out to be repaired." Sarban sat down, getting comfortable as he waited to see what Panyin thought.

Panyin walked over to a table and grabbed some paper to sketch on. He looked at the notes again. These suggestions were simple enough. He was quick to come up with four variations on the theme. He handed them to Sarban. "I can make them more detailed if you like."

Sarban examined them, his eyes darting over the lines. "I like these two very much. Perhaps flesh them out a bit more?" He wanted the new tapestry to be different than the others, a new idea.

Panyin smiled and nodded. He carefully took the two he liked and began to make details. He added as much detail as possible. He looked it over once more. Then he made three more copies of each and began to put color to them. He handed them to Sarban. Each copy of the two chosen designs was colored differently. He wanted to make sure the color combinations were what they wanted. "Which color combinations do you think are best?"

Sarban had quietly watched Panyin as he worked. Nothing of an artist himself, he admired the man for his certain talent. He was secretly content that his Hold had attracted such a skilled crafter. "Honestly there are a few I like, but if I may, I'll take these to the Lord Holder and then let you know. Could I meet with you again in three days' time?"

"That will be good. If there are any changes needed have him make a list and I will make them." Panyin smiled.
