K'mai

K'mai

The bluerider made his way down the hall, lost in thought about a particularly pleasant lower caverns woman he hoped to find in the dining cavern. His reverie was interrupted by the sight of a different but no less pleasant woman ahead of him. "Syntara."
K'mai said warmly. "My poor heart aches from missing you."

"I seem to be hearing that a lot lately..." She eyed him carefully - K'mai was a known to make use of many a storage closet or pantry with little notice.

"So I'm not the only one suffering from the lack of your company?" He leaned casually against the wall.

"Well I generally assume _everybody_ misses me when I'm gone." She winked. She hoped it would distract K'mai from the fact thather choice of bed mates had narrowed significantly lately.

While K'mai had no shortage of bedmates, he did like Syntara and honestly missed her company. And of course he couldn't pass up an opportunity to flirt. "What have you been up to lately? It must be good if it keeps you away from me."

Syntara rolled her head back and forth noncommittally, "A little of this, a little of that - the usual." She shrugged. "I could use a little of you, though..." "Only a little?" He teased.

"Maybe a little more than a little." She moved a little closer. K'mai smiled and also moved closer. "How much could you use? I have all of me to spare."

"All of you it is..." She got close enough to him so that their bodies just barely touched and she whispered in his ear.

"And where would you like to have me? I'm not picky, so I'll let you choose." His lips brushed her neck lightly.

"Let's take this back to your weyr - the closet doesn't seem like the most romantic place ever... and I'm in sore need of such things..."

"Alright." K'mai wrapped an arm around her waist and led her down the hall. "I'll turn that sore need into just sore."

"And that's supposed to be romantic?" Syntara asked dryly.

K'mai chuckled. "Sorry, I have a tendency to say whatever pops into my head. But I do have wine, and an entire evening to devote to you."

"You're lucky you said the magic word - I could really use some wine tonight, and a nice, slow evening with you." It had been far too long since she got an entire evening to herself with a bedmate and the prospect had piqued her interest.

The bluerider was looking forward to the evening as well. He enjoyed a long evening as much as a quick trip to a storage closet. Variety is the spice of life. "And that's exactly what you'll get."
