Characters: G'len, S'ren
Description: S'ren volunteers to help G'len out with his flight lust problem.
Location: Dolphin Cove Weyr
Date: month 2, day 3 of Turn 5
G'len walked slowly across the Weyr bowl, still unable to shake the flight lust. Usually he was able to get on with his work soon after waking up from a flight. This time, however, his attention kept turning to being with a man, any man. He accidentally brushed against someone and gave a sharp intake of breath at the contact, his resolve continuing to crumble.
S'ren was just heading down to the Dining Caverns to see if they'd got any klah on the go when he saw G'len stumbling around the Weyrbowl like a lovesick hold-boy. Catching the other man's eye, he headed over to see what the matter was. Maybe he could get a better pick-me-up than a mug of hot klah.
"Hey, G'len," he called. "How's life treating you?"
The greenrider kept a bit of distance between himself and S'ren, concentrating as best he could on the question asked. "Tobereth rose a few candlemarks ago, so I'm a bit...flustered you could say. She was caught by Loseth, for the second time in a row." He grinned.
"Taken a shine to bronze, has she?" replied S'ren cheerfully. "I must admit, Tareth took one look at the competition and decided not to bother wearing his wings out, she drew quite a crowd." He watched G'len's body language carefully - the other rider was obviously not quite back from his Flight, but didn't seem to be totally desperate for a pickup either, so S'ren didn't want to be too pushy.
"She's a large green, so bronzes and browns almost always catch her. I wish at least this time it had been a blue." It would have been a welcome change, and a chance to work off some more stress.
"Feeling lonely, eh?" S'ren moved slightly to indicate he was about to brush lightly against the other man's arm in a companionable fashion, giving G'len plenty of space to subtly move back if he wanted to, and carefully observing his reaction. G'len seemed to be hinting that he wouldn't mind a bit of company, and by Faranth it would be nice to have an experienced man for a change rather than all these wretched teenagers that the Weyr seemed to be full of these days.
}: You don't seem to object when I catch their dragons, :{ Tareth pointed out.
**Well, no, I like Flights, and I know that there's going to be a lot of youngsters with us being right at the start of a Pass and the clutchs having just got up to size, but, you know, ** replied S'ren silently, trying not to let his dragon distract him from the exchange in progress.
G'len almost groaned at the contact, leaning in slightly to prolong it. Was S'ren just teasing him? "My weyr is nearby," he proposed, smiling to lighten the tone. However, his voice betrayed the seriousness of the offer.
"Well, I'm sure I can spare a little time to lend a hand to such a fetching damsel in distress," teased S'ren. "And maybe some other body parts, too. Lead on, good sir," he continued, deliberately and just slightly less subtly brushing against the greenrider again to see what would happen. Especially as of course he'd have a nice convenient ground floor weyr, being the weyrlingmaster third and all.
}: I like our weyr, :{ complained Tareth.
**Well, yes, you would, you have wings,** replied S'ren amusedly.
**And it's a perfectly pleasant weyr, it's just that it's not entirely convenient for bringing serendipitous encounters back to.**
}: I'm always happy to convey them for you, :{ Tareth protested. }: Especially if they're attached to one of those hard-to-get greens like Tobereth... :{
G'len wordlessly grabbed the bluerider's arm and began walking quickly towards his own weyr, glad it was so close. Now that he knew S'ren was not teasing, he gave himself over to the lust still coursing through him. Yes, this was exactly what he needed.
Letting himself be dragged away, S'ren squeezed G'len's hand and chuckled quietly to himself. He'd been wanting to inspect the contents of the other man's trousers for some time now, and he hadn't thought it'd be quite this easy.
Within the minute the men were striding into G'len's weyr, where the greenrider spared only a glance to his bed to ensure it was clear. He quickly crushed himself against the bluerider, pulling his head down for a kiss and wrapping his arms around the man's broad shoulders. The one coherent thought that came to G'len in the sea of lust was the fervent wish that Tobereth would be caught by a blue more often.
Responding in kind and manoeuvring them towards the bed, S'ren was glad there were to be no more awkward words between them. It was a rare treat to be properly aware with someone still in flight lust and S'ren wanted to enjoy every moment.
