Lovely dream

Description: K'sedel tries to find out if his weyrmate is awake....

K'sedel

Ciara

"You awake love?" K'sedel asked softly of his weyrmate.

"No." Ciara murmured, keeping her eyes firmly shut though a smile flitted
playfully over her lips.

"Are you sure?" he teased gently. "I could wake you up?"

"I'd rather sleep." Ciara snatched a pillow and playfully stuffed it into
her weyrmate's face.

"Hey!" he moaned in mock protest, pushing the pillow away. "I so don't
deserve that."

"Yes you do." Ciara let the pillow plop to the floor but still refused to
budge. "You deserve that for waking me from a lovely dream."

"Was I in it?"

"No." Ciara turned over, her back to her weyrmate.

"Are you sure?" K'sedel rolled onto his side, snaking an arm over her. ""You
don't want to tell me about it?"

"No, not going to breathe a word to you about it, especially since you
interrupted it." Ciara wriggled away from his embrace and closer to the
edge of the bed.

"Aww c'mon,"pleaded K'sedel. "Surely you can tell me."

"Not going to."

The former weyrleader decided to behave as though he were his daughter's
age. He pouted, then reached out a hand to tickle his weyrmate. It might
not be a firm tactic, but it would certainly get Ciara's attention.

Ciara squealed as her hand swatted at his. "Stop that!" She thought about
taking her last pillow and tossing it at him, but that would leave nothing
for her. "You are evil!"

"As evil as you want me to be," came the reply, as the tickle changed to a
caress. "Are you sure you want me to stop?"

"Well..."

"In that case," K'sedel pulled his weyrmate closed and kissed her. Maybe
now, he would be in her dreams.
