Plans For the Day

Description: Alrog and Fieayz plan a day at the Main hold.
Location: Garnet Valley Hold
Date: month 6, day 17 of Turn 5

"Good morning, my lovely," Alrog greeted his wife with fond kiss on her cheek before taking a seat at the breakfast table.

"It is a nice day, and you being here just made it better still." Fieayz reached for a mug to pour her husband a drink of klah. "If only it were a little warmer outside though."

"Wait until winter set in properly, we may be snowbound and locked in for sevendays! Can get anywhere with the snow blocking the passes.Speaking of going, I need to go to Garnet Valley on hold business. Would you like to come with me?" Alrog replied and asked, spreading butter on his bread.

"I think I'd like that. It would be nice to catch up with Otrina, and maybe see some of my other friends there."

"We could do some shopping together too," Alrog suggested.

Fieayz nodded. "We need some things for our room. I was thinking a nice warm rug, and a throw for the couch."

"Maybe we should do something to that old, musty tapestry too," Alrog mused.

"That we'll have to speak to the weavers about."

"Yes," Alrog agreed. "You should probably ask the headwoman, if the hold needs something too," he said. "Best to get everything at one time."

"Before we get snowed in you mean?"

"Yes. The winter here can be dreadfully boring," Alrog warned.

Fieayz gave her husband a look. "I'm sure I can think of things to do that might liven it up a little," she suggested demurely. "And I bet you can too."

"Yes, I do. Have you ever skated?" his expression was little too innocent.

"No," she admitted. "but I was thinking of indoor activities."

"Like addition to birth records?" Alrog asked.

"Only if that addition belongs to us, and I think we need to practise some more."

"That's always fun," Alrog said. "My mother has already started ask about grandchildren," he said.

"My mother wrote to me too," she confessed.

"Mothers!" Alrog shook his head. He felt no urgent hurry for children. They were both young and he was sure there would be more than one children...later. Just now, he liked to enjoy his wife all by himself and not share her with some squalling baby. It occurred to him, that Fieayz might feel stressed to get pregnant soon if he didn't say anything. "Children are nice but personally it think we should wait before getting one of our own. Let's get used to be married first."

"Well," said Fieayz. "That was part of the reason I said practising, we can always tell them that we are trying and leave it at that."

"We are on the same page then," Alrog grinned.

"And I'll show you that later," replied his wife. "although I think we may need to go back and try another look at some things first."

"You're right. We have busy day ahead of us," Alrog agreed. He was already making a mental list of all the things that should be done before they could go to the Main hold.

"And busy evenings too."

"Aye," Alrog agreed with a wink .
