Location: Dolphin Cove Weyr

Mentioned: Meledei, Pierka
Striding into his wery, T'nom growled. He was still slightly wet, but
he didn't care. Right now he was angry. Everything he'd been dealing
with seemed to be erupting from within him.
He strode over to the counter where he kept the klah, only to find the
pitcher empty. Growling, he shoved the pitcher to the side, sending it
skidding across the counter until it crashed to the floor. The pitcher
shattered into pieces, but T'nom didn't care.
It had felt _good_ to hit the pitcher, to let out some of his angry in
some way. Why was Meledei being so hard-nosed on this? Why couldn't
she see that he was trying, but it was _hard_ to go from having
someone in his bedfurs nearly every night, to not having _anyone_
there for over a month!
He growled again and strode over to where he kept the harsher stuff.
He pulled a bottle of liquor out of the small cabinet he kept it in
and took a swig from the bottle. Then, with a frown on his face, he
turned and kicked at the chair before him. The chair crashed over onto
its side. _That_ made him feel better. He took another swig from the
bottle.
She'd called him sexist! Sexist! Him! Pft. He had _needs_, and they
actually _hurt_ at times. He _knew_ it wasn't the same for her or
women like her. Yet, for him, it became almost all consuming until he
satisfied that urge. Sure, he could handle it himself, but it didn't
have the same effect.
He growled again, tromping over and flopping himself down on the
couch. Why was she being so unrealistic? Is that what he really
wanted? He punched the couch in frustration. What was he supposed to
do? He'd all but put Meledei up on a pedestal for Turns, wishing for
something between them. Now that he had it, he'd pushed her to the
point that he'd driven her away. Gone. Like that. Had he lost her? Did
he want to? Did he not?
He growled in frustration again. He couldn't sit still. He was too
agitated. He started to pace his weyr.
}:You are upset mine. I am here for you,:{ Taldeth, who had just
returned from his own hunting trip, landed on the ledge. T'nom's
emotions were strong and the bronze was concerned. He'd never felt or
seen T'nom like this before.
**Yes, I'm upset. Meledei is being unrealistic. She wants to control
everything. Then, Pierka. Well, Pierka doesn't want anything to do
with me.** He growled again. "I want them both!" He declared to the
empty room. Yet he'd been told he couldn't have both. He _had_ to
choose.
He turned and threw a decorative vase that was on the side table off.
It crashed to the floor and shattered. He didn't care. He looked down
at his hand and saw a streak of red where the glass had clearly
slashed his hand. He closed his fist over the cut, savoring the pain.
It gave him something else to focus on, something beside the thoughts
that swirled in this head.
}:You must stop this, mine,:{ Taldeth declared, watching him.
T'nom turned and almost snarled at Taldeth. He was so caught up in the
emotional turmoil inside him, he didn't _want_ to listen to reason
from anyone, not even his dragon.
Further concerned by this behavior he reached out to Elleth. }:Mine is
upset with yours and is acting rashly. I worry about him.:{
The response he received let him know that Elleth's rider would speak
with his own, but not yet. He waited to relay that information to
T'nom. His rider didn't seem interested in knowing he had contacted
the Gold.
It took some time and quite a bit of destruction within his weyr, as
well as a full bottle of liquor before T'nom finally _did_ start to
settle. Taldeth, meanwhile, sat there, watching and waiting.
Finally, turning more sorrowful eyes towards his dragon, T'nom walked
to him, a bit unsteady on his feet.
"I'm sorry Taldeth," he murmured leaning up against the giant bronze head.
}:It is okay. I will always be here for you.:{ The bronze replied.
"I messed it all up," he murmured, sliding down to lean against the
dragon. "I hurt Meledei now too. I don't think she'll ever talk to me
again." He sighed and went to raise the bottle to his lips again only
to find it was empty. He frowned.
}:She will. Hers said she will speak with you tomorrow, but not now.:{
T'nom whirled slightly to stare into Taldeth's eye, then he had to
steady himself as the room lurched a bit.
"You _spoke_ to her? When?" He wanted to be angry with Taldeth for
interfering, but he found he couldn't be. He sighed and leaned against
him again. "Thank you my friend, for knowing what I needed before I
did." He sat there longer, as silence descended. Then, slowly he
drifted off into a dreamless sleep.
Tomorrow would be a new day. He didn't know what it would bring, but
for now, he slept, safe in the comfort of his dragon.
