E'naer loaded the food and the blankets to Eillispeth's back. Feral was
making wild, excited swoops around them. They were going of for a little
private time, just two of them. E'naer wanted to show his secret island to
his weyrmate. His weyrmate, E'naer still had trouble believing he had a
one.
Grinning with expectations, he turned to look. "Are you ready to go?" He
gave the straps a final tug.
"You're still not going to tell me where we're going?" G'wen gave E'naer
his most teasing look
"Nope, it's a surprise, darling. Eillie will give Neath her visuals,"
E'naer smirked and vaulted to Eillispeth's back.
G'wen rolled his eyes and scrambled onto Neath's shoulders. After strapping
himself in--and admiring the new straps built just for their upcoming full
'Fall--he stroked the big green's neck. **Ready lovely?**
}:Whenever Ellispeth gives me the coordinates:{ Neath hopped from foot to
foot, excited to be away from the Weyr.
Eillispeth launched to the air. When she had reach the right altitude,
E'naer gave her the visualization of his tropical paradise island. **Give
it to Neanth.** And they went /between/, Feral clinging to his shoulder
pad.
The large green follow her /between/. They were enveloped int he blackness
for the space that it took G'wen to count to three. When they came out the
two greens were gliding over a sea so clear the young lad could clearly see
every fish in the pod below them.
Eillispeth backwinged to land on the sand beach. Not far to her left, the
sands give a way to a rocky outcrop forming a penisula. The island was big
enough to have trees and a spring, but not big enough to interest settlers.
"Wow, nice!" G'wen sidled up to E'naer and gave him a kiss. "Is it all
ours?"
"Yes, all yours," E'naer affirmative. "There's cave, but you have to wade
in sea to get there. The weather should be fine to sleep at the beach." His
eyes sparkled with the joy of showing his secret retreat.
"Oh, I wasn't thinking about sleeping." G'wen ran a hand down E'naer's
chest to emphasize what was on his mind.
"Me either," E'naer said with innocent expression. "Let's set up the camp
first," he leaned to kiss him.
But G'wen had other ideas. As the taller man kissed him, he wrapped his
arms around E'naer, trying to pull him down to him.
"Okay, the camp can wait," E'naer murmured when he managed to catch enough
air for words.
*fade to black*
G'wen half listened to the surf pounding the beach, and half listened to
his lover's heart beat under his ear as he lay across E'naer's chest. It
was a wide, strong chest as well. He felt safe, and loved, laying like
this, still in the warm haze that lovemaking brought. Just over the sound
of the surf was the splashing of the dragons and the squeal of wild flits,
obviously attracted by the two greens.
"I never thought I'd be this happy all those turns ago, before neath, and
back when you were just some Weyrlingmaster 3rd." He sat up briefly to give
E'naer a teasing grin.
"Well, I'm glad we found each other. I'm happy too " E'naer replied with
content sigh.
G'wen gave him a playful slap on the chest. "So what do you want to do now?"
"You know, I seemed to have worked up an apetite," E'naer grinned
mischievously.
"That's what I'm hear for, to make you fat and happy." G'wen smiled and
reached into the hamper to see what E'naer brought.
"With that exercise, fat is not an option," he grinned and leaned to nibble
his earlobe.
G'wen snorted and rolled his eyes. "So are you going to show me around or
are we just going to lay here all day?" He really was curious about the
island.
"Fine," E'naer said, pushing his lanky form up from the ground. "Grand tour
it is then," he hold out his hand to help the smaller greenrider up. "I
think Eillie already showed Neanth the hunting grounds."
G'wen looked at the two greens and laughed. Neath was all but dancing from
foot to foot with the prospect of wild caught food. Grasping E'naer's hand,
he walked up to the greens.
"You two up to a low flight around the island or would you rather do your
own things?" E'naer asked the dragons. "The island isn't that big, you can
walk across it in a candlemark."
"Maybe we can cuddle up on Neath and let Elli sun herself. We won't need
straps or anything." Gwen nodded to his young green, who was hopping from
foot to foot, curious as her lifemate about the island.
The older green was quite willing to pass the exploring, she already knew
the island. "She agrees, shall we go then?" E'naer forwarded from Eillispeth.
Neath bent down so the two could climb on her back and shoulder. "Okay
Neath, I think we're ready." G'wen glanced back at E'naer.
"Let's go exploring then," E'naer grinned.
"Oh yes, let's!"
With that, the green took to the sky.
