Description: The three best friends catch up on gossip and recent events

Date: month 4, day 3 of Turn 7

Cardella

"Phew, what a day!" G'wen plopped back onto Cardella's bed, sweat
beading on his brow and a wide grin plastered across his face. "That
was fun!"

S'vin glared at the pretty boy before raising an eyebrow at Cardella.
"We're we like this on our first day in the Queen's Wing?" G'wen
seemed positively radiant in his happiness.

Cardella smiled and chuckled. "I think we were just excited them to be
part of _any_ wing, to be honest!" Cardella had been proud of her
position in the Queen's Wing since she'd graduated from weyrlinghood.
It was a different type of Thread fighting than the upper wings, but
it was such an important job. It made her feel important.

"You did well today G'wen," she told him.

"Ah, thank you. You weren't so bad yourself." He mock punched her on
the arm. "But you...!" He shook his head at S'vin, who stuck his
tongue out at him.

"Alright boys! Enough. Settle down. No need to be sticking our tongues
out!" She shook her head, but found she wanted to laugh at their
antics.

"Oh, you're no fun" G'wen mock pouted at her.

"Yes, there's no many better things we could be doing with our
tongues." S'vin gave them a sly wink.

Cardella snorted and rolled her eyes. "Enough of that boys. No funny
games with tongues _here_." She chuckled.

"So anything else exciting going on with you two? I fell that we've
been so busy lately that we haven't just talked in ages." She looked
to both boys, curious to see if they had anything to share.

"Yes, tell us just how is life as the settled mate of the
Weyrlingmaster's 3rd?" S'vin gave G'wen a sly look.

"Nice. Settled." G'wen shrugged his shoulders. "Though if Neath gets
it into her head to try and steal Feral from Ellispeth they'll be
trouble." G'wen sighed and rolled his eyes at the thought of his green
and her obsession with all things gold.

Cardella chuckled. She was happy all was going well for both of her
friends. Life for her was good as well.
