}: It's mine, it's mine, it's all mine...:{ Camilth sing-songed as she
circled in her ledge and wallow.

Paetri laughed as the little pleased green rubbed herself all over the
stone walls of their new home. It was a tiny little weyr to be honest,
and roughly hewn, but it was cozy and caught a pleasant breeze
from the ocean. She patted Camilth's side and left her to her smugness
as she peered into her own little area. A bed, a small living area, a
wardrobe and a few cabinets; it wasn't much, but she didn't have much
and didn't need much. It had been passed over as too small by everyone
else, but she liked the close feel of it.

}: I told Rademerth that they had to visit. They are getting moved in
too. I want him to see _my_ wallow. :{

The blue and his rider arrived a few minutes later. "Hi there," J'kri
said with a smile.

Rademerth glanced around. }:It looks small.:{

"Come in!" Paetri smiled brightly. "So? What do you think?" She
gestured around the small weyr proudly. The walls were rough and
spare, but the small rug and the earth toned coverlet on the bed gave
it a sense of warmth. There was even a small bowl of redfruit on desk.
"I know it's not as big as yours, but Rademerth is bigger than
Camilth.

}: It's not small. It's cozy. :{ Camilth said proudly. }: And it's
mine! It's the best in the whole weyr.:{

}:Genith's weyr is the best. The senior Queen always gets the best,:{
Rademerth said matter-of-factly.

"It looks very nice," J'kri said, "Though the walls could use a bit of
decoration. Something to suit your personality." He wondered if he
could save up enough for a nice sketch or even a painting.

Camilth huffed. }: It's too echoey. Mine is snug. Besides, Mine says
the smaller it is, the easier it is to clean, so ours is the
bestest.:{

Paetri looked around. "Well, I don't really have anything like that.
Maybe in time." She shrugged amiably. "Do you like yours? I know its a
little bigger, right?"

"It has to be bigger," he said as he slid off his dragon. "This one
wouldn't be able to fit otherwise." He pointed back at the blue with a
chuckle. Rademerth was the same size as his brown clutchmates.

"Good point." Paetri acknowledged and then gave a bright smile.
"You're my very first visitor." She glanced around and then tugged on
her braid. "Aw, shards..." She had always been taught to have
refreshments and such for guests, but she really didn't have anything.
"Uhm...I don't have anything to offer you, J'kri. Sorry."

"Well, I forgot to bring a gift for the host, so I guess we're even."
He smiled and took another admiring look around the weyr. "A place of
your own... so how does it feel?"

"Scary but..." She spun around on one foot. "Liberating!" Her braid
flipped over her shoulder. "I've never ever been on my own like this.
Had my own space." She stopped and still in her care-free mood, gave
him a fierce hug. "What about you? How do you like yours? You will
show it to me, won't you?"

"Of course!" He returned the hug. "It's bigger. It looks _huge_ to me,
but I know many of the other weyrs are bigger. After sharing a small
room with my brother, and then the Candidate barracks and the Weyrling
barracks... I can't believe so much space is all for me."

"So what are you going to do?" She pulled away, but kept her arm
around him companionably. "Are you going to decorate? Do you have
enough to decorate?" She smiled. "I could help maybe."

"Sure. I'd probably just put things wherever. Not that I have much."
He laughed. "I don't even know what to do with all the space."

Paetri looked at him with disbelief. "Really? Just wherever? Then you
definitely need my help. Besides, you'll be doing plenty of
entertaining, I'm sure and you'll need to have it welcoming
for..uhm.." She gave a little grin, "..your guests." She let him go
and took a breath, putting her hands on her hips. "We can start now. "

J'kri laughed. "Alright. You can be my first guest, although the real
entertainment will have to wait," he said with a wink.

One hand went to her hip and as her face flushed, she shook her finger
at J'kri. "You're shameless." But there was a hint of a smile playing
upon her mouth. She hustled him out of her tiny little weyr and
towards his dragon. "Let's go get you all set up before you run people
off with a badly decorated weyr."
