D'hol

Jeyme was torn with indecision. She had made sure that the pants and
shirt she had borrowed from S'avn had been cleaned but now she needed
to give them back to the bluerider. She contemplated heading over to
the man's weyr and quickly dropping the items off. However, Jeyme got
the distinct feeling that D'hol would not be happy or forgiving if he
found out that she went to see S'avn- alone. **Not sure how that is any
different than him seeing Cyradis alone but I don't want to push it.**
Even though D'hol had gotten down on his knees and apologized, and
then told her that he loved her during their evening of love making,
she was still afraid that if she did the wrong thing he would send her
packing.

So she waited for the Wingleader to get home before asking, "D'hol I
need to take these," she held up the neatly folded stack of clothes,
"to S'avn."

He hadn't even taken off his boots before she spoke and D'hol went
still. He looked at the clothes, his face cool. "We can burn them. He
can request more."

Before Jeyme could catch it a laugh escaped at the man's words,
although one look at her weyrmate's face told her that he was not
joking, "D'hol! We can't burn his clothes! It would only take me a
minute to run them up to his weyr and I could be right back. You would
never even know I was gone."

His eyes narrowed. "Yes...yes I could." He eyed the clothes and held
out a hand. "I can take them back." His face was almost too polite.

Jeyme raised an eyebrow but did not hand the clothes over to the
bronzerider, "Yeah, you will take them back alright and shove them
down his throat or something." A grin tugged at her lips, "You can
trust me, D'hol, but if it would make you feel better you can come
with me and glower at him over my shoulder."

"I wouldn't be that kind." He replied, not returning her grin for even
a moment but turned and walked to the door, opening it and clearly not
pleased about having to do so. "I'll trust you as much as you trust
me."

Another cocked eyebrow from the greenrider, "Does that mean you are
coming with me or not?"

"What do you think?" He waited, still holding the door open.

Jeyme walked over to where her weyrmate stood and put a hand on his
arm, "It's just about taking back some clothes, D'hol, I swear." Then
she stepped through the doorway.

He closed the door behind them and followed her, remaining silent.

Jeyme tried not to let D'hol's presence behind her cause her anxiety
but her stomach was curling anyway. Even after making up, and shards
they had done some _great_ making up, she still thought the man acted
betrayed whenever S'avn's name was mentioned. The bluerider really was
not a bad guy beneath his exterior, but she knew better than to say
anything nice about S'avn in front of D'hol.

They walked to the unfortunately familiar door and if anything,
D'hol's face grew more remote and colder. His arms crossed over his
chest and his lips twitched in an effort to remain quiet and not punch
the door.

S'avn really was puzzled by the knock on the door. He never had
visitors and thankfully in the couple of days since the whole Jeyme
and D'hol fiasco his weyr had been nice and quiet again. Rising from
his couch, with his book still in hand, the bluerider swung the door
open, and nearly sighed when he saw the pair on the other side.

"Can I help you?"

Jeyme flashed a brief smile, "I just wanted to bring by your things."

S'avn tucked the book under his arm as he took the clothes from Jeyme,
his eyes glancing briefly at D'hol and wondering at the bronzerider's
presence, before looking back at Jeyme, "You okay?"

"Oh, yes," Jeyme felt her ears heating, "I am good. Thanks again." She
took a step back.

"Okay, I'll see you tomorrow." They had lessons bright and early.
S'avn glanced at D'hol once more, finally giving the man a brief nod.

"See you then." Jeyme took another step away as S'avn closed the door
to his weyr. Relief that the entire encounter was over washed over her
because it had been completely awkward with D'hol hovering over her
shoulder.

D'hol's cold stare didn't let up until the door closed and the boy
disappeared behind it. **Coward** He spun on his heel and began
stalking back to their weyr, ready to plunge into his bathing chamber
and soak in the hot waters.

Jeyme had to walk at a livelier pace to keep up with D'hol, "Are you
mad at me?" She asked.

His jaw twitched. "No."

**Could have fooled me.** Jeyme thought as they walked back into their
weyr. The man's curt answer also did not invite further conversation
so Jeyme went to the bag of clean laundry that she had received
earlier and dumped the contents onto the bed to sort through and fold.
It was a mixture of some of D'hol's tunics and a few of Jeyme's things
as well.

He walked directly to the bathing chamber without comment. While she
sorted the clothes, he soaked, letting the heated water drain away his
irritation. The practical part of his mind accepted that she might
have other lovers; she was a greenrider. The more emotive side of him
snarled against having to share yet again...raged against it. The
practical side argued that the boy was close to her in age, as Saibra
had commented upon and the chance was there that he would be chasing
in her flights. He could not expect her to be entirely his...not in a
weyr. He _knew_ that; but she had been just his before that boy came
along. It took him a while to calm and become rational.

When he finally emerged, he was calmer. Damp from the bath, he walked
quietly into the main room of their weyr and came behind Jeyme,
bending to place a light kiss on her cheek.

Jeyme dropped the last tunic of D'hol's that she had been folding and
leaned back against him, surprised, but pleased by the show of
affection. "Feeling better?" She asked, leaning her hips back against
his.

He nodded, breathing in the scent of her hair and wrapped his arms
around her. He tugged her back against his chest and took a slow
breath. "Now."

A slow smile spread across her face as Jeyme enjoyed the feeling of
being enveloped by D'hol."I am glad."

He pressed a quick kiss to her temple before letting her go, then
picked up the stacks of clothing. Moving to the wardrobe, he began
putting the clothing away, tucking her clothes next to his.

Jeyme smiled as she watched him put away the clothing, finding the
gesture to be a sweet one. Grabbing the last tunic that she had yet to
fold she retreated into the bathing chamber with it. Her bath was a
short one, it helped having such short hair, and when she emerged all
she wore was D'hol's tunic, which was just barely long enough to cover
the apex of her thighs, "Well what do you know? A perfect fit."

He was reclining on the bed when she emerged, flipping through reports.
He looked up, paused and his brows rose. He gave a low whistle; the
sight of her wearing his clothing was a rather stirring one. "It is a
good fit." His voice was warm as his lips curled upwards. "C'mere so I
can have a better look."

Having been trained for Turns to be someone's wife, Jeyme very much
wanted to please D'hol, and by the look on his face... she was. Jeyme
walked forward to the bronzerider's side of the bed, stopping when she
reached it so that she could turn around and show him the backside of
the garment, "Could be a little short in the back." She commented,
grinning as she looked over her shoulder at him.

He certainly looked and the grin he flashed her left no doubts as to
where his mind was. "I think it's the perfect length." He reached
across and suddenly grabbed, hauling her onto the bed and directly over
him to straddle his lap. "You know...I think you should have that
shirt. And wear it just like this...all the time."

"Yes, sir." She growled back playfully, hugging his waist with her
thighs as she bent and nipped at his earlobe. She knew that he still
remembered the way she looked when he had picked her up wearing
S'avn's clothes. Now she hoped that whenever D'hol thought of her, he
remembered her like this, wearing only his tunic.

A low growling chuckle rumbled on his throat. "Your weyrmate demands
it!" He grabbed her bottom and squeezed. "You enticing female."
