J'kri trailed his fingers along her arm. "How do you feel?"

Curled up against J'kri, Paetri buried her face against his shoulder
and gave a soft, contented sigh. "Good. Really good." It hadn't been
anything like she had expected. It hurt at first, but not as badly as
she feared. And after that....she gave a silly little grin and lifted
her head, pushing her hair from her face. "Did I do good?"

"You were perfect." He gave her a quick kiss. "And by that look on
your face, I did my job right." J'kri had been a bit worried because
he didn't have experience with this particular situation, but he'd
learned as much as he could from others.

She gave him a beaming smile and laid her her back down, not minding
their present naked state. For once, she didn't feel at all shy about
her body and she liked that feeling. "Uhm...J'kri?" Her fingers walked
along his side. "Will we be doing this more?"

"Oh, yes," he said with a grin. "As much as you want to."

"Really?" She experimentally ran her toes along his calf. "So...alot?
Because, you know, I really liked it and..." she grinned, a playful
gleam finally appearing in her eye,"I think I should learn more"

"We should go get that dirty book of yours." He shifted just to feel
his skin slide against her. Being here with Paetri was better than
he'd dreamed. He'd always liked the shy, sweet girl but he liked this
new curious, playful Paetri too.

She wiggled against him in response and blinked at him, brows arching.
"I thought you said those were artistic exaggerations." She looked
down at her small chest and then back at him. "I'm not even close to
those girls on there." She sighed and kissed his shoulder. "I don't
know if I'm quite ready for that book yet, to be honest. Can we work
up to that?"

He laughed. "Sure." He brushed his thumb along her cheek, thinking of
how beautiful she was. "I still can't believe those greenriders got
you into that outfit."

She blushed and buried her head just a little. "They gave me a couple
of glasses of wine. I wasn't going to wear it at all, but they told me
that you would be drooling. So..." She glanced up at him and gave him
a rueful grin. "I wanted to be brave for once."

"I would drool over you if you were in full riding gear." He kissed a
sensitive spot on her neck, then nibbled it gently.

He hit that one spot that made her shiver and giggle all at once and
she closed her eyes as she tilted her head to give him better access.
"Really?" Her voice was a murmur, a cross between a soft moan and a
purr. She soaked in his compliments and his touch, feeling like the
most special woman in the Weyr at that moment. "J'kri...can I ask you
a question?"

He drew back and propped his head on his hand. "Of course."

She frowned, wondering how to ask her question. She looked up at him
and ran her fingers over his face, then his neck down to his shoulder.
To her, not only had he introduced her to something wonderful, but he
was lovely to look at as well. "I was wondering...I know this is the
Weyr and it's not the Hold, so there aren't the
same..uhm..expectations. But...does this..I mean..are we couple?"

He should have known that question was coming. J'kri pressed his lips
together as he considered what to say. "Will you be upset if I have
sex with other people?"

"I thought you already were." She pointed that out. "I've always known
that." Her pragmatic nature, accepting of her environment asserted
herself. "I know its not the Hold, J'kri." She sighed softly and
stroked his shoulder. "I know you need to be with others. It's who you
are. How can I be upset if you're being yourself? You've never been
upset with me for being me." She struggled for a moment, trying to
find the right words. "You're my best friend, J'kri, but more than
that. I...I don't know what to do or think about expectations now."

A wide smile spread across his face at her acceptance. "There aren't
any expectations." He took her hand and brushed a kiss across her
knuckles. "You're special to me, _very_ special. I don't need to
define it."

She sighed as he kissed her knuckles, her thumb lifting to brush
against his lips in response. "So we won't define it. I think that's
enough."

"Good." He wanted to explore, to see where things went. Friendship
could encompass a lot more at the Weyr. "But if you want to call me
your boyfriend, I'm okay with that."

She thought about that and snuggled close. "But you're not a boy.
You're most definitely a man. Boyfriend just doesn't...it doesn't
sound right." She grinned a little. "You're just J'kri. " She kissed
his shoulder, sweet open mouthed kisses that traveled to his neck. "I
think I don't need a word for what you are to me."

His heart warmed and his body heated. "You're amazing. You're
perfect." He brought her head up for a deep kiss. One of his hands
traveled down her arm to her waist. "Are you ready for another
lesson?" The first time had been all about making sure she was
comfortable and would enjoy it. Now he wanted to show her how much she
meant to him.

She gave a soft little moan and wrapped her arms around his neck, her
fingers sliding through his hair and she returned the kiss with
increasing ardor. "Teach me. Teach me everything."
