Description: The poor apprentice ends up the butt of the joke.
Location: Vintner Hall
Date: month 6, day 2 of Turn 7

"Shh...shh..there he goes." Forbras whispered as he watched the newest
apprentice walk towards the bathing pool. He waited and then turned to
his companion. "You did it, right? Put the glue in the sweetsand?"

A nod came. Jore was quiet. He watched the kid and wondered. He didn't
want Rolale or whatever his name was to see them.

Meanwhile Rohagelen was indeed approaching the bathing pool.
He got into the water after he adjusted his towel and everything. Sliding
into the water after a long day of chores and classes, he was quiet. And
then, inevitably, he reached for the sweetsand.

Forbras watched, a wide grin on his face. He whispered quickly. "As soon as
he dunks his head, I'll go for the clothes and the towel."

"Get in position." Jore knew they'd have to make a run for it. Then the guy
was putting the sweetsand into his hair and all over his body. He tried not
to laugh. Forb had to get the stuff first.

As soon as the sweetsand hit the boy's head, and his back to them, Forbras
made his dash for it. Keeping as quiet as he could, he swiped the clothes
and the towel, then scampered back to the hiding place, holding them up like
a perverse trophy.

It didn't take long for the sweetsand's adhesive to harden. And then Rohagelen
couldn't detach his hand from his torso. When he realized something was
wrong, he started yelling.

And then Jore started to laugh. "Let's go!" He got up and took off.
"Gotcha!"

Forbras gave a whoop of laughter at the startled yells before waving
the clothes in triumph. He followed Jore, cackling to leave the glued
and naked young boy behind them.

Hearing the laughter made him cringe. Mortified, Rohagelen realized he had
been tricked. **What am I going to do?** Wishing he had been at home with people he knew,
he was quiet as he thought about it. Unfortunately, there was no way around it.
He would have to get out of the water and find someone. He couldn't unglue
himself on his own.

Trying just that, he almost ripped his skin before giving up. With a frown,
he decided to sit there just a little while longer, hoping a nice boy would arrive.
Maybe.
