Description: Camilth rises again.
Location: Dragonsfall Weyr
Date: month 9, day 8 of Turn 7
When Camilth started snipping at Rademerth, Paetri became suspicious.
The usually loving green had only acted this way one time before and
now Camilth's mood was reflecting on her own. She made it a point to
try to control her own irritation at little things, but in the past
sevenday, she'd finally just decided to spend a few days by herself.
It was far better than snapping at J'kri or the rest of her wing over
minor matters.
When Camilth's green hide began to glow, Paetri sighed in relief, both
from the anticipation and the strain of waiting. When Camilth burst
out of their weyr, screaming her need and lust, Paetri echoed her as
she ran to the flight rooms. She hoped Rademerth would catch, but even
if he didn't, both she and Camilth needed the release.
}: She Rises, I'm going to catch her,:{ Nirreth informed his rider
matter-of-factly. He sent an image of the lovely green.
** There's no denying you, is there?** G'nir asked and put the report
he was working with aside.
}:Nope,:{ the bronze replied. G'nir got up and left his office. A
little distraction in a shape of Mating Flight wouldn't be a bad
thing. Especially if the rider was female and Nirreth happened to win.
}: Camilth is Rising! :{ Juth told M'shan with excited tone. The brown
had vague memory of winning her. He was young and hadn't won that
much, so it had stick to his mind.
** Great, see you at the feeding pens,** M'shan was equally eager to
for this Flight.
As G'nir walked out of his office, P'nal left the one beside him, and
gave a shrug before he walked beside his Weyrleader. Jodeth was once
again going after what he thought was his. The brown didn't bother
with the others chasing, but instead tried to figure out the female.
J'kri started running as soon as the lust hit him. He'd known this was
coming and had been on edge for days, ever since Paetri's mood had
changed.
}:Camilth is mine!:{ Rademerth roared at the other males.
Paetri rushed into the flight room and in contrast to her first time,
showed no trepidation. Instead, she unbound her hair to let it fall
over her back and shoulders. Her eyes searched over the assembling
men, and there was a distinct flash of relief when J'kri came in, then
surprise at the entrance of the Weyrleader. She immediately flushed
and cleared her throat before taking a deep breath to ready herself.
Camilth didn't bother waiting any longer. She leapt into the sky with
a shrill cry, looking behind her at the males who would attempt to
catch her. }: Are you fast enough? :{
Kenirath knew that he was fast enough, and he knew he could outlast
the younger dragons as well. The bronze flared his wings and leapt from
the Weyr Rim, his whirling eyes locked onto Camilth's glowing form.
D'kere slipped into the flight room, his hair still dripping wet from
where he'd had to dash from the bathing pools.
Full of confidence, Rademerth shot after her. }:Of course I am!:{ His
clutchmate would have her fun, and then she would choose him.
Juth leaped after the glowing green. }:She's mine! :{ he replied to
Rademerth's challenge with roar of his own.
Nirreth didn't waste his breath nor time. His strong wings took him
quickly up to the air. }: I might not be the fastest, but I'm the
strongest.:{
Imalkyth's pecan brown hide gleamed with health as he leapt into the
sky with the others after the glowing green.
K'ale slipped into the room and the group around Paetri.
Jodeth growled and pursued the green, ignoring the others. The brown wasn't
as fast as some of the blues, but he could catch and break her fall. And he
would certainly give her comfort and satisfaction. Besides, she was a pretty
little thing and why wouldn't he want that?
Panting softly, Paetri stared at the ring of men and tossed her hair
back as Camilth's lust swelled within her. Her eyes locked on J'kri
for a moment, giving him a sultry smile before slowly turning away to
unlace her top. She shrugged it easily off of her shoulders and
stretched, for the first time absolutely reveling in the sensations
coming from her green instead of fearing them.
Camilth barrel rolled, wings tight around her as she exulted in her
flight. She had several fine males after her and the choice would be
difficult. Fine Nirreth, the leader, or the newer Kenirath? Juth was a
fine specimen and she vaguely remembered him twining with her before.
Perhaps she should choose him or Jodeth who seemed so intent on
catching her. There was the brown Imalkyth as well; he was most
interesting. And then there was her beloved Rademerth who was her
rider's preference. Pity she couldn't have _all_ of them.
Imalkyth saw the green looking and crooned his desire. He had flown
gold and would fly her very well. K'ale stepped close his mind locked
with his lifemate as they rolled through another spin.
J'kri reached out for Paetri, missing her as she twisted away. Only a
sliver of his mind remained on the ground, enough to see _her_ and how
beautiful she was, sensual and free. Rademerth stayed close to
Camilth, wings pumping hard as he tried to match the green's speed.
}:I will catch you!:{
Briefly remembering an earlier conversation with the young blue, Jodeth
flew above where Rademerth was crowding Camilth. He was watching as
she dove and flew, using her energy to do such acrobatics. She would tire
and perhaps the young blue would as well. His large wings hid the clouds
above him, marking his shadow below. His whirling eyes were purple and
intent.
Nirreth roared his desire and kept observing her. He kept a fairly
large distance. He was confident his strenght would be make him able
to close the gap when situation presented itself. She was young one,
she was prone to either tire out or make a mistake. He would be alert
and take the opportunity.
Juth was perhaps bit overeager and found himself boxed in by Rademerth
and Jodeth above him. All he could see was Rademerth's tail, so he
dropped down. Risky yes, but it might work out if Camilth suddenly
doved.
Kenirath did not corner himself in by flying too close to the rest of
the males, the last thing he wanted was to be pinned in should the
green decide to make a last minute change of direction. He was strong,
and a health experienced bronze, and he _wanted_ this green.
Flicking her tail, Camilth turned her head back to look at the pursuing
males.
She was tiring and soon she would have little choice as to who caught her.
But who? Her eyes lingered on the bronzes and the browns, it was the
smaller,
more familiar blue that strained so desperately to catch her that caught her
attention far more.
She crooned and dipped her wings, sliding within range of his grip.
}:My Rademerth... :{
Below, Paetri took a deep breath and beckoned to J'kri.
Juth bellowed with disappointment and turned to return home. On the
ground, M'shan was pulled aside with pair of soft, feminine arms. He
went willingly.
G'nir also picked up a flight month to entertain himself while Nirreth
returned to the Weyr.
If Kenirath could have rolled his eyes he would have. Of course she
would pick the blue! With what could only be described as a dragon's
version of a sigh, the bronze turned and headed back for his ledge
while D'kere slunk out of the flight weyrs alone.
Rademerth lost no time in claiming her. }:Mine!:{ He bugled happily,
twining his neck and tail tightly around Camilth. }:My mate,:{ he
crooned in a softer tone.
J'kri grabbed Paetri, kissing her breathless. He was barely aware
enough to get them to the mating cot, shedding clothes on the way.
