Physical Description of Persona:
He's 5'10" and weighs about 160lbs. He has grey eyes and hair that was once brown, but is now greying.

Ariavin has built up a lot of muscle from his work as a Cooper. He has a permanent tan, from a lot of outdoor work, and a scar on his left arm where a chisel slipped.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Very stoic and reliable, that's what most people would say about Ariavin. Like the barrels he makes, he's a fairly well rounded individual without any strong opinions or so it seems to the outside world.

Inwardly it is a different situation, Ariavin is torn between two worlds as he has feelings for both men and women, something condemned outside of a weyr.

History of Persona:
Ariavin was born to a family of woodcrafters and followed in his father's footsteps, something he almost felt forced into doing. As a young man he knew something wasn't quite the same about himself, he was attracted to girls, like the rest of his peer group, but he also found himself struggling with attraction to his friends at the woodcraft hall as well.

It was only when he went to the weyr to see his brother impress that he realised what those feelings were, he was seduced by a bluerider and things clicked into place.

Going back to normality was hard, but he eventually married, and does genuinely love his wife and children, but he carries around feelings of guilt over wanting to occasionally be with a man. Now he has risen to the rank of Senior Journeyman and is working on completing the project necessary to attain his mastery, by making the perfect wine barrel.
