Physical Description of Persona:
R'harne is slim man of medium height, with dark brown, short-cropped hair, light but tanned skin, and surprisingly pale green eyes. He's ordinary in appearance, rather than good-looking, but he has a lazy, charismatic appeal that becomes apparent at more-than-casual observation.

Emotional Description of Persona:
R'harne's an observant, quick-thinking man, as disciplined as he is able to recognise when it's time to take things easy - on himself and others.

History of Persona:
R'harne is weyrbred, the fostered child of riders. He didn't have any demonstrable interest in a craft so was employed in the Weyrhold's gardens until he Stood and Impressed. At fourteen, when he Impressed brown Guieth, he was an already mature boy who adapted quickly to the responsibilities of being a dragonrider. He has proved a useful, reliable wingrider, having been considered as a possible wingsecond on more than one occasion since the return of Thread.

R'harne has had a number of relationships in his adult life, most not lasting out the Turn. He ended up cautious and wary, happy to pair off with women who understood that he wasn't interested in permanency but was careful to avoid those who have more romantic ideals - until he met Teykara.

Much younger than he was, Teykara amused him at first with her undemanding but unconcealed interest. He remains amazed that he allowed himself to be tempted into a relationship with her. They were both surprised when Teykara's Standing at Hatchings (which had seemed to be little more than a dutiful habit) resulted in her Impression of Yeulanth. The break in their relationship necessitated by Teykara's weyrling training was a chance for them both to reassess their commitment but the result was that they became weyrmates on the day she graduated.
