Physical Description of Persona:
Evaleine is on the taller side of average for a woman, thin and lithe but sadly quite curveless. Her father used to tease her about her boyish figure and despair at her potential for bearing his grandchildren.

She has long dark brown hair generously highlighted in auburn, framing a somewhat heart-shaped face with high cheekbones. Her eyes are her most striking feature as they are wide set, extremely large and pale, pale green, so much so that some people find them disconcerting. Dark lashes and eyebrows serve to contrast her pale eyes just as her fair complexion is contrasted with her dark hair.

She often wears scarves or brings her hair forward over her front left shoulder to hide four parallel red scars that extend from her left should to her neckline.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Evaleine's mother always said that she would have made a tremendous harper. Not just because she had a pleasant voice and some talent with instruments but because she is a born arbitrator and diplomat. She does well at reading people and situations and has a talent for soothing tempers. Seeing various sides of a situation has been both a gift and a curse for Evaleine.

Quite confidant in herself, Evaleine can play many roles and sees nothing wrong with adjusting her demeanor to the circumstances, particularly if it helps her to attain a specific goal. Though she may oftentimes seem quite open, it is not uncommon for people to be unaware of her true thoughts.

History of Persona:
Born at Coral Bay Hold, Evaleine's father was a sea captain and her mother a harper from the North. Evaleine never knew her mother's reasons for abandoning her craft and moving to a plague ravaged southern continent. Leinesha refused to speak of her past.

Despite such family secrets, Evaleine had a happy childhood with both her parents and older brother doting on her. When she was old enough, her mother wanted to send her North to apprentice as a harper, but Evaleine loved the South and did not want to leave. She saw adventure and challenge in seeking a good marriage and managing a household and was content without a craft.

Evaleine developed an impressive talent for the art of cooking, though she never managed to master needlework of any kind. Leinesha taught her daughter to sing and play several instruments. Evlogne did not foresee any difficulty finding a good match for his bright and talented daughter when the time came.

At age fifteen, Evaleine's life took an eventful turn. While attending a gather, she happened upon the Lord Holder's grandson. The mischievous boy had managed to slip away from an aunt who had been charged with watching him and his siblings. Curious exploration had led the young lad a distance from the gather square. Taking some time alone, away from the festivities, Evaleine had noticed the boy and headed in his direction only to discover that she was not the only one.

A feral feline that had ventured uncharacteristically close to civilization in search of food had targeted the boy as well. Evaleine managed to get between the animal and its prey, and her piercing screams as well as the boys' brought help, but not before she had suffered the brunt of the attack.

The healers were quick in their treatment of her wounds, but an infection ensued. It was sevendays before she recovered completely, and not all of the scars faded. The most pronounced runs from her left shoulder to her neckline. Though the encounter nearly cost her her life, it ultimately resulted in close ties with the bloodline at Coral Bay.

At seventeen turns she married a nephew of the bloodline who had a small holding not far from Coral Bay. It was not a love match, but the two got along well enough. Evaleine's talents in domestic hold management became apparent as she worked side by side with her husband to build a prosperous holding.

There were of course difficult times, many of them, but the couple persevered, until after a little over five turns of marriage, Flylonn died in a freak drowning accident. His brother took over the hold and Evaleine returned to Coral Bay. Her mother's death partnered with certain other unpleasant circumstances had her looking to move elsewhere.

When an ailing paternal aunt, in need of assistance asked her to come for a stay at Amethyst Cliffs Hold, she made the arduous journey, pleased at the prospect of starting a new life. Shortly after arriving, the earthquake decimated the hold and she found herself moving to Amber Hills. Though friends and family at Coral Bay urged Evaleine to come back home she saw potential at Amber Hills and decided to stay for a time.

Her husband had left her enough marks to live comfortably for a few turns, though she knows she will need to seek a husband or a position soon.
