Physical Description of Persona:
Tall enough to tower above almost every other man in the Weyr, Vandor's size could be daunting if he let it. His broad, brawny shoulders and chest help to add to the idea of giant. His obsidian hair curls so tightly that it merely forms a halo around his head if allowed to grow out, so he keeps it short. His hair is only slightly darker than his skin, the hue of rich, unadulterated klah. His nose is wide, his lips full and expressive. When he speaks, the rich tone reverberates, almost felt as much as heard.

Emotional Description of Persona:
One would expect such a giant of a man who have a similar personality - outgoing, perhaps with a temper. Vandor is just the opposite. He is well mannered, calm, and while it is possible to anger him, it is hard to do so. His size can be daunting to others, particularly patients, but his gentle tone and tender ways have a way of causing even the most nervous of patients to relax.

History of Persona:
Born and raised at Thayan Peak, Vandor was one of many who came to Dolphin Cove after the Weyrhold was destroyed. Vandor was luckier than most as both his parents and his sister survived the catastrophe. His work to help the healers with the injured helped solidify his decision to become a healer himself.

Vandor earned a reputation among the other apprentices as a stick in the mud. This was not so much truth as it was that he cared about his craft enough to curb his temptations and flighty desires. While others were enjoying drink and other joys of the flesh, Vandor (more often than not) could be found studying into the wee hours of the morning.

As a young man, he Stood at various Hatchings but finally gave up when he was eighteen to focus on his studies as a healer. His love of his craft and his empathy for his patients encouraged him to work diligently. He continues to strive in his craft with the hopes of becoming a Master sooner rather than later.

When the Hall called him to leave his home in a collaborative effort with their sister Hall in the North, he answered the call, taking a position where he travelled between cot holds and minor holds. This allowed him an opportunity to increase his knowledge and skills. In Turn 12, the Southern Healer Hall asked him to return to Dolphin Cove Weyr. Though he appreciated his time in the North, he was happy to return to his homeland.
