The Giving of Gifts

Characters: H'riv, Gyllie
Description: Gyllie is a great gift giver, H'riv says so.
Location: Barrier Lake Weyr
Date: month 7, day 24 of Turn 10

"I have a surprise for you tonight," Gyllie purred.

H'riv, stretched out on his bed with his arms behind his head, lifted his eyebrows in anticipation. "Oh?"

Gyllie gave her shoulders a shrug, dropping the robe she had been wearing, revealing a lacy, barely there, red bit of lingerie that accentuated her creamy skin and the curves of her body.

"Now that's my kind of surprise," H'riv said, pushing up onto his elbows to fully take in the sight of her.

"Oh, that's just part of the surprise," she said with a sway of her hips as she slowly untied one of the strings that held her bottoms on.

**She's going to strip.** H'riv's brain thought stupidly, while the rest of his body stood at attention. The brownrider had never lacked for bed partners, but Gyllie was the first that he'd taken, in a long while, that made things so fun and playful.

"How did I get so lucky?" he asked out loud as he moved to sit on the edge of the bed, his hands reaching out to touch.

"Ah, ah," she said, slapping at his hand and then wagging a finger. "No touching, sir."

H'riv's eyes were pools of desire as he looked up at met Gyllie's eyes. "So that's how it's going to be?"

"Yep," she said with a saucy grin as she danced before him, untying another lace.

**Oh she's good.... and so bad.** H'riv thought, hands gripping his knees to keep from reaching out for her.

With another pull of lace the entire garment slid off of Gyllie's nubile body, falling to the floor in a flutter of fabric.

"That's it." H'riv couldn't take any more and he left the bed in a flash, scooping the redhead up and bringing her back down onto the bed with him in an arduous kiss.

"H'riv," Gyllie laughed against his lips. "You weren't supposed to touch."

"Couldn't help it," he said against her mouth as his hands replaced hers on her body.

*fade*

As he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her against him, panting heavily as he did so, H'riv felt as if he'd just been in a flight. There was something about Gyllie that spoke to all of his desires and needs. Perhaps it was that she seemed to have no inhibitions or insecurities in the bedroom, or that she seemed to be able to anticipate exactly what his body wanted. Whatever it was, he was glad he had found it.

"Best surprise ever," he panted in her ear, smiling a little as he pulled a sheet up over them.

Gyllie smiled in post-coital bliss as she snuggled back against the tall brownrider's sturdy body. "I am a great gift giver," she said with a smirk.

"Oh you are," he agreed, pressing a kiss to her shoulder. "Stay the night?" he asked.

"I don't know," Gyllie said with a soft sigh. "I should probably get back to my weyr."

H'riv's arms tightened reflexively around her. "Oh, come on. You know you want to stay."

Gyllie turned in his arms, looking up at him with an unreadable expression. "Maybe," she let the word hang between them before her eyes cleared and she was back to the naughty woman he knew. "You just want me here for morning sex."

The brownrider laughed. "You caught me."

"Then I'll stay." Gyllie declared, settling against his chest with a sigh of contentment.
