Tavia

Tavia

U'kaiah slipped off his great bronze's neck. Suwauth was noticeably
absent.

}:She's with her mate,:{ Kalamath explained, though his rider could feel
a slight twinge of regret that it had not been him this time. He rather
liked that green.

A Flight? U'kaiah knew full well that all manner of things could go
wrong when dragonlust took hold. "Tavia?" he called pushing the curtain
aside. She might still be in a Flight cot, or worse, the infirmary!
But he was here, so here he would search first. "Tavia, are you
alright?"

She'd been laying on her bed wishing for U'kaiah and trying to doze to
let go of the after flight arousal but then she heard him. "U'kaiah?"

"Tavia?" He was relieved to hear her voice, and followed it to her bed.
"Are you alright?" U'kaiah asked, sitting on the edge of the bed beside
her and brushing the hairs from her face. There didn't appear to be
anything wrong with her physically, which was a relief, but still...
"Glory came to find me. It was a Flight? Did he hurt you?"

She sat up and turned into his arms. She rested her head on his
shoulder. "Only my feelings. He was so mean when I turned him down
for seconds."

"Shards," he breathed, wrapping her tightly in her arms. U'kaiah had a
good mind to go find whoever it was and teach him how a man was supposed
to behave in a Flight room! "I'm sorry, my love. Pay him no mind. He
didn't deserve you anyway."

"I'm so glad your here," she breathed and then something registered
he'd said earlier. "Glory came to find you? Smart girl," she smiled.
"I really need you now."

He understood exactly what she needed now. It also occurred to him that
they were in the rare position when it was she who felt the urgency of
dragonlust coursing though her veins, while he had no such pressure.
Usually it was the other way around. Well, he would make sure and erase
every thought of the man who had treated her so inexcusably. And he
would do so with a slow hand, and soft kisses that would make her lose
herself in the moment. "Lie down, and close your eyes," he gently
instructed her as he pulled himself out of her arms to kick off his
boots and peel off his shirt.

Just having U'kaiah here with her began her recovery from the
depressing unhappiness she'd felt just moments before. She obediently
lay back on the pillows and closed her eyes. She could hear the rustle
of clothes and his boots hitting the floor and a small smile played
around the corners of her mouth. Right now, when she'd needed him
most, he'd come and that was something she was unlikely to forget
anytime soon.

Stretching out beside her, he touched just the tips of his fingers to
her cheek, moving them slowly along her jawline to her lips, tickling
them with a feathery touch. He murmured softly into her ear. "Forget
the Flight room. And forget the wherry's ass who you woke up next to."

Down her neck and across her collarbones the backs of his fingers
skimmed along her skin, caressing her as much with his body heat as his
touch. "You don't have to open your eyes to know who it is that lays
beside you. You know by the feel of him that it is no stranger. You
know because you can feel it here," he said as his hand splayed across
her chest, "as your heart beats faster at just the thought of him. And
here," his fingers slipped down to tickle just below her naval, "where
you are aware of a fluttering of anticipation. And you can feel him
here." The fingers slid down even lower, caressing sensitive skin as
they slowly bunched her light shift higher and higher.

"You know when he touches you in a way to excite your passion, it's not
to satisfy his own lust. His only burning desire is to please you,
because he loves you." U'kaiah's mouth and breath brushed against the
skin of her neck, traveling up to hover just over her slightly parted
lips. "Suwauth chose her mate today. Now it's your turn to choose
yours." Long harper fingers slipped under the hem of her undergarments
as he whispered, "Wake up, Tavia, and choose me. I swear I will fly you
well."

She took long slow breaths drinking in his words and as he spoke her
tension drained slowly away. With her eyes still closed she adjusted
her position slightly turning toward him. She'd always liked his
stories and the way he read to her during a bad storm and the words
that had been said before were overcome by the sound of his voice.

"I choose you," she murmured.

U'kaiah kissed her, softly at first, but slowly deepening. He had
always been a man who needed to fix things, and while he could not erase
the events that followed her Flight, he would do everything he could to
make things right. Knowing that every touch of his hands or brush of
his lips were heightened in her by the dragonlust, he would use it to
make sure she had no regrets this day. First with fingers, then with
lips and tongue, and finally with every part of himself, he pushed her
higher and further. Finally, he pulled her on top of himself, allowing
her to decide when she had enough. He was determined that he would not
let go until she gave him permission to do so.

He knew her body like he knew his archives and his sure fingers
touched exactly the right places at the right time. Her body began to
flush again with desire and a fire built inside her. Her mind went
away and she only felt as he drove her higher and higher just like her
dragon in flight and she felt she would burst with the glory of it.
