Physical Description of Persona:
Aryn makes average look good. She stands about 5'5" (barely an inch taller then her eldest brother, which she holds over him mercilessly), with a build on the slighter side. She has always been active enough not to retain excess weight, but not active enough to generate additional muscle. She doesn't quite have the ideal hour glass figure, but she is well rounded in the correct places. Hair and eyes are both brown, her hair resembling the color of goodly brewed klah. Her hair is quite long, falling down her back, but she usually keeps it braided, then turns it up into a bun. Small whisps do escape though.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Aryn was searched about a little more then a turn ago, and really took to the weyr. She stayed on more for the liberal view of women then really having her heart set on a dragon partner. Aryn is the only daughter to a women who also has three sons. Although that amounts to only four kids, she feels that her mother is worn down, worn thin, trying to take care of the energetic male family. She doesn't want to fall into this. She does miss her younger brother a bit, having helped in the caring of him, and is thrilled to have Toriat here. They aren't attached at the hip, but Toriat seemed to be the only one in the family who saw her as a true individual. Although as she starting to become more aware of sexuality, having an older brother around isn't so convient.

History of Persona:
Aryn is the third born to Tobyrn a Senior Journeyman Beastcrafter and Ariathal his wife. She is also the only daughter from the pairing, which puts her in an interesting situation. When she was finally old enough to be aware her mother seemed tired and distant. She dutifully began to teach her daughter how to keep the home, and in relief used her help.

Aryn tried to do as she should, but her heart wasn't in it. She wanted to know why she couldn't join craft's, like her brothers. She even tried to be helpful, doing Tobhal's chores sometimes if he had slept in.
One day her father caught her doing this, something as innocent as preparing the feed for the animals, but he forbade her.

Although he thought Ariathal could still use the help, he began looking into a marriage for Aryn, thinking it would be best to start getting her settled into her adult life. Luckily for Aryn before anything was decided she was searched for the weyr. Her father didn't want to let her go, but for once Ariathal stood up to Tobyrn, and she was allowed to go.

But after she failed at one hatching Tobyrn expected her back. He was surprised and angered when she didn't return. He worried what the weyr may be doing to his daughter, probably making her unmarriable. After a second hatching, when she failed to attract a lifemate once again Tobyrn sent an ultimatum. She was to return and marry a fellow journeymen of her fathers (not quite twice her age), or she was dead to him.

She made her choice, and didn't truly regret it. She had settled nicely at the weyr, was popular within her age group and was pursuing an apprenticeship in weaving. More recently her oldest brother Toriat joined her at the weyr. Toriat was nothing like their father so Aryn was able to regain a part of her family. Although they usually quarrel, it really means a lot to have Tor around.

A few weeks before turning sixteen Aryn impressed Viyanth. While trying to absorb her new life she at first did not notice a new rift between her and her brother. She hopes he is just disappointed about not impressing and will eventually come around.

Description of Dragon:
Viyanth's size is ever expanding right now, so its hard to determine at what size she'll stop at. Her hide has just a shade more yellow in it then the average green. Being a young hatchling still Viyanth has a pristine hide which she takes joy in being oiled to a high shine.

Personality wise shes an adamant little beast, trying to make sure she is heard, whether it is a plea for breakfast, or how silly her rider's taste in food is. Having a short attention span, this means she is often repeating herself.
