Physical Description of Persona:
K'lar has the type of face that wouldn't stand out in most people's mind as particularly memorable. His hair is brown, and so are his eyes. He doesn't look rugged, or handsome particularly, though his features are a little too angular to be classified as boyish. His best feature, however, is a warm and genuine smile that tends to light up his face.

Emotional Description of Persona:
He is a warm and nuturing soul, wanting nothing more than to take care of people. Especially a special someone. Once he has decided to take someone under his protective wing, he is not afraid to fight to protect them from harm in any form. Their enemy is his enemy. There is very little nutral ground. But it takes a lot for someone to offend him on their own merits. Mostly he would be classified as a sensitive and caring gentleman.

History of Persona:
Kilarian was born and raised in a small community, barely large enough to be called a Hold, that was bound to Amethyst Cliff Hold. At the age of twelve, after graduating from harper classes, he went to work with his father at their grain mill.

Their small Hold has always enjoyed a favorable relationship with the Weyr since a goldrider had been Searched from their Hold generations past, and so when a rider came asking if he could be allowed to Search their Holder agreed. Three boys were found to be potential candidates. One of those was Kilarian. Since he had more sons to work in the family mill, his father concented and the boy relocated to the Weyr. There, in his third Hatching as a candidate, K'lar was found by Bruith.

While K'lar had learned to adapt to life at the Weyr, and even learned to adopt many of it's philosophies, deep down he still held holdbred convinctions on the idea of family and home. He longed for a weyrmate and children, but finding someone who shared his ideas tended to be difficult in the Weyr. He didn't shy away from encounters with women, but he was always looking for that something special, that something deeper.

Eventually he found it in a shy young drudge named Nialyn. She too was looking for a stable family for herself and her baby daughter. Within a matter of months of patiently courting her, he knew she was the one he wanted to spend his life with. When a fight with her former lover, Birigundi, sparked her to make a desperate decision to leave the Weyr, he begged her to stay and be his weyrmate. Though at first she turned him down, she had a sudden change of heart and it seemed that K'lar was finally to have everything he ever wished for.
